I watched the news last night and they had both families on telling their stories, and they said something about arresting the brother of this man and someone else that was involved in this horrible mess and these men told police that he might be heading to Alanta,GA. I pray every day and night that they find this scum bag trying to be nice here but these 2 family's need to know way and have justice to be served.

God Bless the Bell family and the Roach family.

I hope they find this web site to know that there are people out here that do care and care in a big way.

My condolences to both families & their friends. The lady was Sam(antha) Roach. She was a former police officer, and left behind a husband and if I remember correctly 2 or 3 kids, as well wus about 2 weeks short of having a new grand baby.
All I can say, is I hope they find the guy that caused it.
They have a total of 8 kids 3 are hers and her husband and the rest are adopted. She is an amazing women and many people love her and will be missed terribly.

I came up on the wreck in front of the first officer to arrive. The driver had already fled the scene, but was not far enough that he should not have been caught. I was very clear that the two passengers of the bike didn't suffer, it was an instant. You could tell this by the position of the body. I travel that road nearly daily, and you can tell by the brake marks that driver of the bike did not have time for reaction and that the driver of the truck evidentially swerved all of the sudden on them. It was very upsetting, I did not even know the two and cried all the way to Murfreesboro and was upset all day.
My prayers go out to this family.
Also I heard, that they think he is heading to Mexico, at least that was the last place they were able to track his cell phone was in the South West.
We need to say a prayer for all of our bikers out there, that God would put a protective hedge about them and the drivers they meet.

ATTENTION:
Motorcycle RIDERS AND ANYONE WHO WISHES TO RIDE

Lynn Bell and Samantha Roach, while riding a motorcycle, were killed 9/30/08 by an illegal alien who fled the scene and is still at large. They were hit head on when Harlin Alverez who was driving a pick up truck crossed the center line for no known reason. Lynn and Samantha were likely killed instantly, while this illegal alien decided to run on foot. He was picked up by his brother Henry and a friend who are also believed to be illegal. The brother and friend have been arrested, but not Harlin Alverez, the man responsible.

We want to get any and all bikers willing to help us bring more attention to the serious illegal alien problem in middle Tennessee and across the country. Please join us on a ride that will start in McMinnville,TN at the court house square in Warren County. We want to ride by the accident site on Hwy 70s just west of Centertown, TN, and continue thru Woodbury, Murfreesboro and then to the legislative plaza in Nashville. There may not be any lawmakers in the plaza on Saturday but our hope is to have enough bikers that the news media can’t help but notice and bring attention to the lawmakers thru the news. We will return to McMinnville on a route that will take us by both Lynn and Samantha’s grave sites.

We need as many riders as possible to show up. You don’t have to ride a bike. If you want to drive a car you are more than welcome. We just want to be as big as possible.

In Lynn and Samantha’s honor let’s wake up our legislatures and take back our country!!!!

There is no charge for this ride. We will depart from Warren County Court House approx 10:00a.m.

My sister, Samantha Roach and a good friend (over 25 years) were killed by an illegal alien 9-30-2008. They were riding a motorcycle west bound on Hwy 70s just west of Centertown, TN in Warren County.
Herlin Alvarez (An illegal alien) was driving (on a suspended driver’s license) east as he met them he crossed the centerline for no known reason and hit them head on killing both probably instantly. He then chose to flee the scene on foot and called his brother and friend to pick him up. There were skid marks from the motorcycle trying to stop; But Alvarez never hit his brakes.
The Brother and friend of Alvarez have been arrested and charged with Accessory after the fact: Vehicular homicide. But Herlin Alvarez is still on the run. It is believed he was taken to the Atlanta, GA area.
Lynn left behind two wonderful teen age daughters, Samantha Left behind 8 children (3 biological, 5 adopted) 6 of her children were still living at home. Samantha and her husband were foster parents, over the past 15 years they have kept over 45 foster children in their home. She had a grandbaby born 8 days after she was killed which will never get to know her grandmother. It is truly a shame!
It is so very important that this subject be brought to justice, Samantha and Lynn didn’t deserve to die like this and they certainly do deserve justice.
PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS CASE???
This guy is still believed to be in Atlanta, he worked for Porter roofing, And it is rumored he may be working at a porter roofing job site in GA. Please keep putting the word out. Lets find him.

Angie,
You are very welcome, I know I meet you mom and Billy when they had come into my place of business and both were very nice people and very kind. It was so hard to believe that this had happen to them and I know my daughter goes to school with Heather and Attonda. We just want to give our thought and prayers to all of you. We just want both of these families to know that there are people out here that do care.

They will find this man that did this and he will have to deal with it, I'm sure he is realizing what he has done and he needs to get the death penalty as far as I'm concerned.

God Bless both families and many prayers!!!

Here's the details that I have heard thus far. I make no claim that any of this information is correct, this is just what I had heard, so please, do not be upset with the messenger. Sam & Billy were good friends on their way to the Murfreesboro area. Sam liked to ride & was thinking about buying her own bike, so it was not unusual for her to go for rides any chance she could. They were heading to M'Boro for lunch as they came over a hill west of McMinnville, when the driver of the other vehicle was as at a high rate of speed traveling on the wrong side of the road. Billy (the driver of the bike) did not have time to react, and they were hit head-on.
The driver of the the vehicle that hit them is quite possibly an illegal immigrant, and left the scene of the accident, and there is a region-wide manhunt out for him. He could possibly be facing 2 counts of vehicular homocide, reckeless endangerment, more than likely no license nor insurance, speeding, reckelss driving, reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and possibly many other things. Sam & Billy were killed instantly.
The families need all the prayers & support they can get. I believe Sam's funeral is Saturday @ 1pm, although I'm not sure where. I'm afraid I have no information on Billy's arrangements.
There is a pic of the missing driver in a front-page article on the Southern newspaper, please, if you see this man anywhere, call 911 IMMEDIATELY!!! Do not attempt to apprehend him yourself, he may be dangerous. Please just call 911 & let the local authorities take care of it.
I just hope & pray that someone can find this guy before he manages to leave the country and heads to Mexico.
Once again, please pray for the families.
They were headed to murfreesboro to have the oil changed in Lynn's Bike.

The accident was very disturbing. I was the first vehicle to come up to the scene. I will leave out 90% of the details for no one needed to what I saw. I saw 2 people laying in the front yard and a shatered bike. I began to pull over and saw a red truck off the opposite side of the road. As I pulled over I heard a jet engine which turned out to be a broken gas line that the truck ran over leaking gas. I saw the home owner on the phone and down by the red truck I saw a man on the phone, he was the man they are looking for. I could do nothing for the motorcycle riders so I pulled forward to slow down oncoming traffic coming over the hill. The first car thet pulled up was 2 nurses that asked what was going on, I said "it didnt look good" They grab some bags out of their trunk and run up to help the 2 riders. At about that time, I noticed the man from the red truck over by the motorcycle, the next thing I saw was him running up through the field. 5 minutes later 10-15 cars had passed by and the first emergency vehicles should up I waved the 2nd police car down. and told him I saw the man flee through the field. I asked him if I should stay and he asked if I actually saw the wreck occur. I said no, he said to go ahead and go. I feel by the scene they were killed instantly, It was a terrible and tragic event. I hope the two are in a better place.
I thank you for these details. I am the fiancee' of Lynn Bell. I always wondered if there was anyone who could have helped him and the woman with him. She was planning to buy the bike from Lynn and ride with her husband. Still breaks my heart each day thinking I lost him this way. Lynn wanted to minister to the bikers and had a heart of gold. Yes - they are BOTH in a much better place. Again...thank you. DW
