Review: Mc Kinney Eyeworks - Marc Woerz OD

My family and I were patients at this facility for years. I recently bought my daughter glasses and they broke, I spent a quite a bit of money on these glasses and they made me pay for OVERNIGHT shipping, the glasses came in a week later and they would not refund my money for the shipping. They would rather lose 5 patients than refund money they should have. I feel ripped off and they could care less!

We stopped seeing Woertz years ago. Don't know which was worse: Woertz arrogance or the feeling his practice was "money- driven" instead of "patient- driven."

IT WAS MY FIRST TIME. IT WAS THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. FROM THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF TO THE DOC HIMSELF. WENT IN ON 09/11 AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A PRESCRIPTION AS OF 11/04. TREATED ME LIKE I WAS A MAJOR INCONVIENCE. TOLD ME THEY DON'T MAKE CERTAIN CONTACE LENSES AND AFTER A LITTLE RESEARCH FOUND OUT THEY DO. WOULD STEER ANYONE FROM GOING TO SEE HIM.

Yup, Woertz is bad news. My family and I tried him a couple of years ago and he AND his staff proved the worst optometrist experience we've ever had and that includes having lived in Texas, California and Illinois. Steer clear of this guy.

Absolutely agree - the front office staff is incredibly rude. And Woertz is a joke. Everyone in our family wears glasses/contacts. After everyone had been to their 2nd yearly appointment, we decided that there had to be a better place in McKinney. I highly recommend Dr. Upchurch on El Dorado and Dr. Qach at Affinity Eye Care on Custer.

Surprising Woertz is even still in business. He shouldn't be. Another good optomestrist is Matthew Hudson O.D. on Virginia. Not only is he good, he's a sweetheart too.

Mt family and i have been going to Dr. Woerz for the last 6 years. Every year i go they have always rememebered me from the time I call to the moment i walk in the front door. I have referred many of my friends to him. I have built a strong relationship with Mckinney Eyeworks and they have helped my family and I anytime we have needed them. It is very disturbing to hear these negative comments because it is probably from patients that did not get there way and have nothing better to do than to complain about it. It really unfortunate to Dr Woerz and his staff to get this kind of feedback.
