The point is you seem to think you are the only person who believes this didn't have to happen, but the fact is that it did? And you want to point fingers at everyone having no facts and accuse everyone of not doing anything to seek the truth what every it might be. Do you not realize "the voice of reason" has to be a family member or don't you or anyone else care what was said.
I can't wait for the day that Nancy's family members speak. Maybe then all of you people with your finger pointing and ignorant thoughts will finally SHUT UP!
Jesus, please protect me from your followers.

And who tells you when to shut-up? If you are going to quote scripture, it shouldn't be to insult people. It reflects poorly upon your Faith, and turns people away from God.
So, I should use the verse that describes breaking the teeth of the deceiver? You are not talking to followers of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Or can't you tell by the question? and don't water down the gospel!

PLEASE STOP! You sit behind your computer, hiding in relative anonymity, spewing hatred and contempt. Why? Dino is in jail, he is oblivious to your posts, to your anger and to your hatred. This thread is an offense to the family and continues to bring more pain into their lives. The vast majority of you are not aware of the details of this case, yet you continue to speculate and accuse! You, through your desire to interject your two-cents are dragging this family through the mud. I refuse to give specifics, because you aren't involved in this matter and, frankly, it is none of your business, but your accusations against the family, the church and the counselors are unfounded, unwarranted, and destructive. Please cease all of your vain rantings, many of which clearly constitute libel speech.
You need to do some research on libel law.

The Bible is not for you to wield as a sword of offense. You must be a newborn "Christian"... full of zeal, but lacking in wisdom.

People, have some sympathy. Haters is angry because, like all Christians, she's terrified of hell. Imagine how awful it must be to believe in a raving-lunatic god who plans to torture most of humanity with eternal fire? I'd be mad and crazy too.

As shocking as all this is, don't be shocked! While a nice man (they always are), he neglected his wife, enjoyed material things and a large home, had little remorse, allegedly hit disabled children, and openly listed his income at $150,00-250,000. And he's mighty slick, to boot.

I don't know,'sociopath' comes to mind here. But wait! There's more! Read on.

This is happening all across the country. Yes, Sociopaths! This is not an isolated case. Folks, take care and beware.

Sociopaths represent 4% of our population--or--1 in 25 individuals (!) that have no conscience or guilt, disguise it well, and mimic our normal emotions and responses. They can reach high positions of power and authority and use this to their advantage. Yes, these folks, sociopaths, could be living in the neighborhood, down your street, or even next door.

Want proof of more pastors, reverends, youth ministers, etc., engaging in sexual abuse, fraud, embezzlement, and the like? This will rock your world, he's here, and there's many similar sociopathic folks taking advantages of their positions of trust over others in 2010. This link was a fascinatng read and quite an education:

Reaching Out to the Church is not enough! It sickens me that his family was aware of what was going on and NO ONE went to the police or social services. Everyone just turned the other cheek. I think those that kept this secret are just as guilty as he is and should face criminal charges. What all of these articles fail to mention is that he and his wife were foster parents as well and that all of his minor children were adopted from the foster care system. Sad that these childen were pulled from abusive homes just to be put into a home where this occured. I hope he rotts in prison until the time comes for him to burn in Hell!
check it out, 1st nobody knew, and MY mom only had suspicions and u cant go to court on suspicions...2nd if 1 of our family members knew, we would have done something about it...3rd before you try to call people out like you know them or something(or act like you know whats going on in the situation)actually know what your talking about...thank you

If you heard this and had proof why didn't you call the police yourself? It is easy to post inaccurate information anonymously. There are several police officers in that church why didn't those suspicions make it to them? Please stop fanning the flames. Slander is slimy.
once again i must correct the mistakes that people that no nothing about the situation make; once again she only had suspicions and you cant go to court on suspicions if there is no proof, also Ex-CM said nothing about having proof themselves, lastly i would like to say people need to stop attacking/hating on friends of mine and my mothers...thank you

what i want to know is this:
if there were rumblings in the church about this, why did all you Christian folks let those rumblings stay whispers... why not protect the child who was rumored to be molested. why didn't anyone listen to her and encourage her to report this child abuse...or make an anonymous report? why is the reputation of a man more important than the child in his care.**** is wrong with you people??!! people who do these things usually look for positions of power to groom kids for this kind of abuse. If this "man of god" was not guilty of the internal rumblings of his own congregation then there is no reason to fear. but if many people hear it and do nothing then aren't they complicit??? this whole thing makes me sick... and to think they will blame the "enemy". everyone who heard the rumors and did nothing needs to ask "what would Jesus do?" then get right with their god. just my opinion.
once again idiots posting on subjects they know little about(what a surprise)...however since you know nothing keep your opinions to yourself because there was a lot that went on behind the scenes that you nor the author of the article could see...thank you

I am a woman in her late 50's that can atest to the fact that child molestation is not something that you "GET OVER". As a matter of fact when I got the news of "Pastor Cardelli's" molestation of a child under the age of 14, it threw me into a tailspin of hate, hurt and many bad memories that started at the age of 3 or 4. No matter how hard I have tried to forget, things like this bring all those awful feelings and memories to the fore front.
I can only hope that this young girl can get counseling long before I ever sought out help. I definitely agree with "humbeau", they should sell everything that means anything to him and get what they can out of it and put it into a special account so that it can be used for medical and counseling for her.
