I was just reading a story about this on another site and it says she is no longer employed at the hospital and hasn't been since about two weeks after this happened. But her license wasn't revoked by the state until the end of September 2008. Just crazy.

geez. maybe she works for rancho springs hospital in so cal. they just got fined twice within a 6 month period.
hospitals are so desperate to hire people that no one checks them beyond their license, fingerprints and piss tests. and once they are hired their backgrounds arent routinely checked.

Are you really that stupid? The state gets it.So what?If there was no regulation by the state cases like this would be even more common. The family will get a much bigger settlement.

The whole ER needs to be restaffed.
Two Decembers ago friends of my family were in a car accident and sent to Madd River. They live in Oregon. After they were home their doctors checked them. The father had a cast on an arm that was not broken cut it off and sent him home. The adult son was told his neck was broken and they wanted to screw in a Halo to his head. His doctor at home checked the xray and said this was an old injury, took the neck brace off and sent him home.
What was Madd River thinking??? Maybe they wanted to scam the insurance company.
