Given that even being charged with DUI is treated as seriously, more seriously, than attempted Murder, could the T-S be held accountable for this list? DUI is bad, but the damage to society by theft is greater, and yet these people are not paraded through the paper.

Please understand, I am refering to a vanilla DUI. No wreck and no injury. That person will be treated as a full on drunken reprobate even if they blew 0.09. This is from reading news reports, not from any experience. I do not have to worry about such things personally.

Another bleeding heart. How do you know that the next time they decide to drink and drive if they are not punished they don't run into someone you love and destroy their life and yours? Open your eyes. You sound like an idiot and I am sure that you aren't. People like you scare me especially if they are setting on a jury.

Ever wonder why the T/S hardly ever publishes criminal convictions or plea bargains?
Seriously, wake up and leave the cave. It's all controlled propoganda.

How about you minding your own business. People who live in fear like you really suck.
Do you walk around all day wearing a helmet? Your fear affects me as your fear infects others.
How about this more hard lined approach: You kill or injur while driving you get the death penalty. Would that be better for you?
I'm sick of people being given the 10th degree for a minor infraction. The "what if" nazis are out for you. He only had two beers, but what if he would have killed my daughter......... Blah-blah-blah.
I really couldn't give a crap about your lost loved ones. I didn't do it.
Hang the guilty. Leave the innocent alone. Mind your own god damn business.

Good idea. Publish the ratio of plea bargains vs. actual criminal convictions without a plea bargain.

Anthony Flores Who Killed Nicole Quigley back in October 2008 while racing at 113 mph down hiway 299 and ran from the scene of the accident leaving a nine year old dying on the side of the road, will be out Jan 12,2011 two days from now. Keep a close eye on your children. Good old Humboldt County Flores did 2 years total for his part in her death.

Someday maybe the law (Sac Politicians and those in other states) will wake up, quit taking money from the beer, wine and liquor lobbyist and make some realistic laws that apply to DUI.

The ones we have now obviously are not doing the job. The vast majority get off with a fine. The ones who are a little bit worse, like maybe busted 3 or 4 or more times might spend a month in jail and have their license suspended for 6 months. Even the killers get out on "good behavior" after a short visit to prison.

It's a joke, very bad, sad stupid joke. Need laws at least as strong as in most Euro countries and preferably like in China.

Check them out on line if you want to.

The stupid, don't give a dam-, idiot DUI drivers will not stop as they know the laws are Mickey Mouse and with a good lawyer they can beat the rap most of the time.

For any stupid bleeding hearts out their remember this when you feel sorry for them, they murder innocent people and yours and mine and all the other law abiding peoples insurance rates pay for their crap.
