No Road Toad...

BAD Road Toad...

Nice try Road Toad, but we just aren't buying it anymore!

You always try and ignore the fact that you are pathological liar.

You always try and "get back on the subject" when someone brings up the point that you are lying.

Face facts Road Toad, the game is up. You have been caught!

Please, for your own sanity Road Toad, get some help for your pathological lying and spending 16 hours a day, day after day, week after week, month after month on Internet chat forums.

You are sick Road Toad, get some help...

Your identifying everybody you seem to have a particular disagreement with as "Road Toad" was first funny, then sad and now just disturbing.

I would suggest you have some problems that might be better handled off the chat forums as you state.

OF course, I am not your "Road Toad" friend, but I am expecting the label soon.

Wouldnt the rest of this blog community agree that TWP has a problem.

Well, who picks up the doggy do-do? And when the owners don't, then does it become a job for city employees & who pays for this?? It seems in this day & age when $$$ are short this is one of those luxuries that needs to be put on the back burner. The $$ raised could go to another worth while cause...hmmm. More liberal ideas---you take care of my dog....go walk your dog else where. Oh, hey the $$$ raised to go to cleaning up the dog do-do that is on the sidewalk around a favorite dog/walk area across from the zoo. Responsible dog owners (NOT)there don't pick up the droppings. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs but I think we all need to be responsible for our own dogs. Pay for them ourselves. This is city property so ultimately it will become a city responsibility. We must stop all these warm & fuzzy $$$ costing projects. This project will become another crime area. Don't allow this to happen.
Dog owners in dog parks use the disposable plastic bags available in the dog park to pick up their dogs s***. Have you ever been to a dog park? I think the dog park is a great idea!

Perhaps, you don't hear them because they speak differently, but one thing that is undeniable, it is hard to find a better listener than a dog!
As far as the tax issue goes, maybe only dog owners should contribute, seems fair... but if that is fair, then those of us with no kids shouldn't have to pay for other people's kids to go to school.
No question that dogs do listen, perhaps even better then people in many cases.

I hope that those who want and need a dog park and its financed under donations and fund raising that it happens and I'll support such a fund raiser. I don't have dogs but fund raisers I like because it has more meaning instead of forcing taxes.

If you have read the article and have also read these postings then you should already know that THERE ARE NO TAX DOLLARS BEING USED TO BUILD AND OPERATE THIS DOG PARK! SAY IT OUT LOUD-- NO TAX DOLLARS!(but I did read a volunteer's post about the city supplying the poop bags like they do for the block by the zoo). It's a city park so it is already being cared for by the city, as in it adds no extra costs. It is an open space that can not be developed for anything other than a park. Dog parks are very common in other towns. And very welcome. If you don't want to go there because you might step in a pile -- adopt a cat and stay home.
I am in support of the dog park, you must have misread my posts, as I must have missed the information on how the park is funded. I have three dogs and step in their crap all the time when I'm picking it up off my lawn! It washes off, not the end of the world. Next time keep the SHOUTING and life advice to yourself.

TWP is a certifiable loon. It accuses everyone of being its arch-enemy. Better to just ignore it.

Well, there you go...who pays for the "available" bags??? When I walk my dog I carry MY OWN bags, do you??? Of course you think this is a great idea...the people are taking care of you and yours!!

And to answer your question...Yes, I have used dog parks and I found them dirty & the dogs untrained...more of a place for the lazy dog owner who wants someone else to take care of their dog.

Make the miscreants at the Skate Park pick up dog poo at the dog park for community service. No helmet? Being a jerk? Here's a shovel, see you at the dog park....

Don't get it, but maybe now people will stop letting their dogs piss on my retaining wall and hanging plants and killing them. I plant them not only for myself but so the entire neighborhood can enjoy their beauty.

What great fellow citizens we have here in beeeootifuuul Eureka. Many of these "adults" are as bad as the damn meth-heads and juvenile delinquents.

I see most of these intelligent comments are from people out of town. It would be nice to have a dog park here. My dog is friendly and needs to socialize. I pick up his crap, enough said!!

I have concerns with the fill that the City is putting there. It is full of asphalt which will eventually leach petroleum products into the creek which runs into Second Slough which empties into the Bay. I wonder about the legality of dumping asphalt there. I'm really not sure why the fill is needed in the first place.
