In view of the indictments that involved City Councilman Carr who voted for the Home Rule Charter, and three indicted former MPD officers, I am very suspicious of the contents and intent of the proposed HRC changes.
Furthermore, Councilman AJ Tedesco who chaired the HRS committee flipped to the machine side and was rewarded with a $60,000 City job.
Was that the payoff for letting Mayor Mike write the changes and influence the committee?
I heard that the rewrite to the Home Rule Charted was designed to give more ownership to the Porkster of the city and police force.

What do you hear?

Wow! Do you mean more ownership than he already has?

We know the Porkster has a death grip over the city. This is unbelievable that the Mikey lets him continue as chairman of the Recreation Board.

Now get this and how foolish can Mikey be to let Chairman Porkster hold the recreation board meeting at the Viking and the Chairman picked up the tab.

Let us summarize.

The indicted Porkster is Chairman of the Recreation Board and Mikey is ok with this.

The indicted Councilman Carr is a member of the Recreation Board and Mikey is ok with this.

The indicted Councilman Carr hosts the Recreation Board meeting at his Viking Lounge which was raided three times for gaming machines over the past two years. Mikey is ok with this.

Mikey should be smart enough to recognize this sends a wrong message to the good citizens of the City. Many suspect that Mikey used his influences to appoint the Porkster to the board and then the chairmanship. The Porkster is in a good position to establish a lot of "stops" from his chairmanship. Mikey accepted a contribution from the Porkster and then used his influence to advance the Porkster's hidden agenda. This is a violation of the State Ethics Act.

There is something about this Jason name. You are wrong so wrong. Think about it this way.

16 indictments served and all seemed to do their illegal business in Allegheny County.

The raids entailed Washington, Westmoreland, and Fayette counties. Your 99% means that none of the places or operations of gaming machine business outside of Allegheny County will be indicted. That is Jason name like logic.

Is appears like Mr. Holtzman's attorney is lobbying the AG publically for a plea bargain. This is a smart, swift, and economical defense strategy. It may not be good for some others.

In return, Mr. Holtzman may reveal at lot of information or AKA singing to save his family, police chief position, and City police pension. My family and spouse are with you on this one Mr. Holtzman. We wish you the best possible results.

If I was in his jam, I would do exactly the same thing. Why go down alone and to protect the guilty. They threw him under the bus when they forced him into retirement. He knows how to return a favor.
