Exactly! Get some folks togther and go to a meeting and order it be done........hey folks it's your money..........my saying is ..."It's always easy to spend someone else's money".......or more like easier to steal something owned by the tax payer......

Be kind - no one is stealing our money. They are just under reporting the proceeds of city run activities, like the Palisades and IV Gate receipts. That is why council and the mayor fear an audit.

First off,get a council member to bring up on the floor at meeting night, a motion to have an audit ( on whatever ) see how many vote it down, then vote them out next time, it's not that hard.
Get Walker to do it now before she becomes another pull toy for the people pulling the strings.
This is how you slowly vote out the scum.
Get them shaking in their boots if you can, if they dont wear boots, then the sweat glands kick in.......you cant hide droplets of body fluids dripping down ones face.
Use your head folks,I cant do it or I'd blow my cover,if it isnt blown already.

This issue came up at the last two council meetings. The Controller recommended to Council to fund special audits including the IV and Palisades.
Council President Segina requested a motion repeatedly for the audits in response to the Controller's recommendation. Not once but twice the other six council persons would not even bring the motion to vote.
All six are equal part of the blame. The mayor is silent on the issues but snickered when Segina could not get one council person to introduce a motion. Note that the local newspaper did not print one word of audits discussed at last two public council meetings? So much for transparency that the mayor brags about.
Council and the Mayor fear an audit of the Palisades and other fiefdoms of power. But some citizens may just work around council and appeal to the appropriate authorities.
And start with the fact that the Palisades did not file IRS Form 990 as required for a non-profit with revenues of over $25,000.
Not to mention that the Palisades may not strictly adhere to the County drink tax requirements or County Board of Health requirements. Paying workers under the table could interest the IRS and State Department of Revenue. Not to mention how much it really cost the City to subsidize the Palisades because there is not independent audit.
This is why the mayor and six council persons are covering it up. The Palisades and other entities could become nuclear in a heart beat if the authorities express serious interest.
Why is Mr. Joyce no longer affiliated with the Palisades and Councilman Carr is now the chairperson and decision maker? Who shares in the 50-50 drawing held?

Mike Joyce was on the payroll and that had to stop. Dan Carr offered to run the Palisades into the ground for free. He has that experience going for him, since he owes everybody for the Viking. He took over right around Flag Day, and supposedly the UPMC-funded lunch was nothing like in years past. But the contribution was the same.

Let me try to understand this. Mr. Joyce who is popular and a very successful restaurantor and businessman is unceremoniously released by the Mayor, like Mr. Pittman and Mr. Rost, from his Palisades Performing Arts Corporation position. The Mayor never announced this publicly and gave no valid reasons for Mr. Joyce's abrupt release like the CD Director.
The Mayor then replaces Mr. Joyce with a puppet councilman who operates a financially wobbly Viking bar, the bar was raided several times for video poker devices, the bar was cited by the LCB for violations, the bars owes suppliers considerable monies, the AG/Grand Jury is probing the operator, the operator is alleged to have appeared at the Grand Jury, the operator is delinquent on many taxes, the operator has substantial IRS liens, illegally parks vehicles on his vacant lot, and the operator refuses to invoke IV gate accountability as Chair of the IV.
This seems like a recipe for disaster. IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE OR IS IT JUST ME?
Mayor how is the Viking doing with their business privilege taxes and City earned income tax withholding for their employees?
