It's not like he tried to beat the city for %83,500 in "deferred comp" and then played the charity donation card once caught.
When former Mayor Brewster got exposed and challenged on his attempt to get a bogus $83,000, he saved face by donating our tax money in his name to some 25 city charities that he hand picked. HE CONTRIBUTIES IT TO CHARITIES TO APPEAR BENEVOLENT WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.

When Rep Gergely gets exposed on questionable campaign funds he donates it to a for-profit - HE CONTRIBUTES IT TO CHARITY TO APPEAR BENEVOLENT. And some of the contributions came out his personal account -- why was it deposited there in the first place?

When Rep Kortz and the Monessen Rep get exposed - THEY RETURN THE MONEY.

When Mayor Cherepko gets exposed accepting and perhaps orchestrating an illegal contribute from MACM -- HE RETURNS IT.

When Mayor Cherepko gets exposed accepting and perhaps orchestrating an illegal contribute from MEMS -- HE RETURNS IT.

Did Mayor Cherepko donate or return his $4050 he received from Porky who proclaimed he had influence over the city and police force? Why not Mikey?

If a MPD officer issues me a citation for creeping through a STOP sign, can I back up at the stop sign and then fully stop, and then return the citation?

Hush, hush, Mr. Ference. The AG and State Police apparently did not invite the MPD, County Police, and DA to participate because they were too engaged solving all those City murders.

When are we going to hear from the beloved and crime expert Dr. Wecht on this one and the DA disengagement? What did the DA do with the millions the state granted him to erase these illegal gambling devices?$

That could be possible. But I doubt any of the City Hall based appointed or elected officials will be mentioned in the next or final round of indictments. Of course with Carr's indictment and Porky and Mayor Cherepko throwing him under the bus, Carr is burnt toast.

However, I speculate City Hall will become engaged to varying degrees of seriousness once the flippers, state witnesses, informants, plea bargains, and tipsters complete their mission of boldness and justice.

This may take some time.

Both Cherepko and Brewster said that their campaign committees have given a lot of money to charity.

SO WHAT???????

So do most if not all campaign committees.

Stop dancing around the issue koping people buy those stories!

Give the money received back or to charity in full!

Cherepko claims he's given $8000 or $9000 to charity this year through his committee. It would be interesting to see if the committee's financial reports to the county back that up.

Mike and Jimmy you know that most persons reading or posting are astute enough to access your public financial campaign required reports.

I challenge Mike to list to whom he contributed $8000 or $9000 to this year?

Jimmy just list your first $5000 this year and we will go away satisfied. I noted that you contributed $8000 to Mike in the past. You cannot count Mike as a charitable institution. Oh by the way Jimmy we still cannot find the names of those 150 businesses you brought to the Port.

If they don't specifically donate or return the exact amounts they received AFTER they were caught accepting them from an alleged gambling kingpin, it's just spin. No reasonable person would buy that story.

No reasonable non-machine person is buying it. Mikey has not returned his $4050 Porky contribution or donated it to charity yet

I think that Dan Carr should set up a charitable defense fund. Mikey, help your friend out. He is a puppet vote for you every time. You should know how to return a favor.

I hear a few bars around the area are still raking in the cash and kickbacks and payouts are in full swing in these places. Did Ms Kane clean house or just a few rooms?

I heard they wont pay strangers off....the regs get all the money, or should I say the regs lose all their money ! LOL!

You heard correct. Most of the machines were replaced within 48 hours. The machines were back in the Viking almost the next day. The heat was not even off. The raid fires were still roaring and raging

Dot's, I am told has not had the machines replaced because the owner now declines to harbor slots. A few raids cleared the owners mind.

Is the State Police luring them into another sting operation?

The Twin Oaks has a line up of machines and it looks like business as usual. Many other places is business as usual.

I have no idea who owns all these replacement slots.

What I am hearing on the street is that people aren't that much concerned with Porky's operation. Their ire is directed towards the politicians who take a buck or two and look the other way.

The gambling revenues from the PA Casinos were supposed to rebate money to home owners to lesson the burden of property taxes. If Senator Brewster, Mayor Cherepko and all the other scoundrels were making easy money for doing what they do best -- nothing; it's time for taxpayers to get their share. A pound of flesh would be my choice. I would go out to Roundhill Park and feed it to the hogs; not sure if they would eat a pound of flesh from a Mob Valley politician or dirty cop.

Most would agree with and I hear the same thing on the street.

The authorities are more concerned if any politicians or appointed official were on the Porkster's payroll and were payoff $$$$$$.

If any runners are nailed by the State Police and they sing, it will be lights out for those they made deliveries to and from. It is as simple as that. They nail the runners and they sign the case becomes a Mob Valley nuclear bomb detonation.

You obviously do not understand the financing of political campaigns. The MDC endorsed candidates have a death grip on all elected offices.

You are not running against "them" you are running against their treasure chest and McKeesport Democratic Committee network and nepotism and jobs.

Mayor Cherepko treasure chest is over flowing with loot from donors Gobel (thousands, Nickolich & employee (thousands of dollars), Tom Clark (thousands), Tom Kratzenburg (thousands), Ray' Tree (hundred), Porkster ($4050), Elash (cash and services), Baum (hundreds), city employees (a hundred), Senator Brewster ($8000) only a fool or Malinchak will challenge them.

Harry Walsh who does not even sleep in the city contribute hundreds to Cherepko and Brewster. He was rewarded with the MDC endorsement for Constable, and now Controller and he was appointed to the RACM.

Pay for play is in play.

What a joke, gambling is everywhere, the only ones that get caught and turned in are the ones that wont pay to the officials for the money they make, that is definitely for sure. So, they knew just had to go thru the channels to turn them in, since they didn't want to pay the price to run the machines.
