Talked to a good friend of mine who is an assistant coach at a college. He thinks that a bad season by McKeesport will have colleges pulling their offers to the DI recruits. Better start looking at DII and DIII schools ASAP!

Only if the colleges suspect below the line preformances on the players and not the coach and his staff.

But isn't that what's happening? The players are performing inadequately as a result of poor coaching.

There is only 1 D 1 prospect, Stockett, and the best he can get is Akron. This team has nothing and noones deserving of any attention.

The coach sucks, not the players. Leadership is key and Ward doesn't have it.

Very good Jen. Coach Ward took a lot of credit for Pryor when he was a volunteer coach at Jeannette. Why did he fail our kids? Did his interest seem to tail off after the elite stopped knocking on his door? It was coach Ward's responsibility to keep these kids grounded in reality and mentor them into proper behavior into the next level.
Now I know John Q, Jimbo, or Ralph is going to come out with thier "Starry's Pittbulls" bs. Plain and simple... If the marines can take criminals and turn them into marines, the our coach, whoever he may be in the future, should be able to turn Pittbulls into Tigers. We as administrators, teachers, parents, and fans should accept nothing less.
The gauntlet is laid in front of the board. Let's see what they do and VOTE accordingly.

Why is Clairton so much better than McKeesport when McKeesport has a much larger pool of students to build a team from?

Are you saying that Clairton wouldn't beat McKeesport 9 times out of 10?

Yes, the worst quad A team would beat the best single A team. If you were a fan of George Smith like many of you say you were, he stated the same about single A football many times as well.

He believed single A football was just sandlot football. And I agree.

Clairton looked like undisciplined thugs last nite even though they won. Single a is like little tigers. Now little tigers could beat serra.

MASD Tiger coaches Duke, Ding, and Falco would do spot and random bed checks on their player by actually visiting the homes of the players.

If a player was not in the house by 9:00 pm then you are off the team the next day.

This policy could have saved a very promising career for a Tiger and lot of grief and shame for others.

Good job stealing my name loser. At least I got the balls to use my real name. And as a matter of fact, I DO have the ability to lead. You obviously don't because you can't come up with your own screen name.
