Did either of you READ the story?

This woman WORKS part-time for the CITY of MCKEESPORT!

Employers are cutting benefits even to people who have seniority. Do you have any idea how much it costs to buy your own coverage?

Where have you been the past five years? You're lucky to FIND a job, nevermind one with benefits.

And Corbett took tobacco settlement money that was earmarked to fund this program -- as per the terms of the settlement -- and diverted it his buddies. Do you see ANYTHING wrong here?

You need your eyes examined. Do you have coverage? Are you paying 100% of it? I doubt it.

She's working for the city. They don't offer health insurance. Is she and everybody else who doesn't have coverage through their employer supposed to spend ALL their paycheck on medical insurance?

Is it getting through to you yet?

Are you willing to pay (much) more in taxes so that everyone can have "free" healthcare regardless of what choices they make in life?

Is THAT getting through to you yet?

At one point I had no health coverage after departing the military. Getting a part time job was not an option beacuse I knew they would not provide me with benifits. So I decided it was in my best intrest to work full time even if it meant moving. Everyday I put out at least 1 resume until I landed a job the provided for me. Even after serving 3 combat tours it did not come to mind to dig for a handout when im able to do for my self. Your employer does not provied for you go get a new one. I payed 36k in fed taxes last year. Is it geting through your thick, unmotivated, society sucking skull yet?

You dont get it. It was tabacco settlement money we got that. How about puting that money into educating children in schools on the dangers of smoking? Not supporting the lazy. Who is she to benifit from this?

I did pay for my own health insurance at once and it was not cheap but not once did I expect others to pick up my insurance bill when I could find employment which I did through hard work. I already said this. Are your eyeballs working today? Maybe your $10.00 low income comcast internet is acting up on you..
