I don't know Shelly or if he would do this. It
doesn't make sense. I don't think the whole truth is coming out, who would pull a gun over a campaign sign ? He did spill the beans on the dead
fish, we got the cover-up BS. I put nothing past
any politician to put the bullseye on someone's
back to cover their ass.

There were six catfish confirmed killed after the annual PNA fishing derby. There are no problems with the water according to the DEP, unless the newspaper is part of the massive fish killing conspiracy. This was just another episode. Didn't the same guy get charged with harrassment of a female on White Street and post on his own blog something about bringing a gun to council meetings? This isn't funny anymore. Anyone who knows him should make sure he gets help.

That's what doesn't make any logic, and he told me about people going to him to cause problems for other people himself! Meaning, they are the very underhanded, not that the people who went to him didn't vote for Tedesco. Something is very unusual, and he did tell me a target was on him for telling people online about the politicians of Mckeesport schemes.

Why would he be worried about some signs, and after the election are all over. Sounds like another contortion of facts, and we are not getting the straight forward truth in the matter.

He was very sane last he spoke several people, and was talking about his family - how he loved and missed his kids. He did mention a lot of pressures and how they were building up on him, and I did invite him to church again.

He spoke of how he enjoyed speaking with Eddie here on Topix, and loved to get out and speak to people. He mentioned how he felt about his life and wanted to do his best.

I spoke with him about not letting others get to him, and he could ask me for anything and have it. I told him I would help clean his yard free of charge.

Paul will have friends always, he is human and I doubt the validity by the way the story is written. Now I'd be more capable of believing he was provoked with nasty words. I know others who threatened death and the provocation was fully understood by Riazzi! He understood the stand of how they flew off the handle and went crazy, and stated afterward his police did not want to do anything about it.

Realistic, Mckeesport itself is more the conditions that are poor. But since Mckeesport is not a truthful justice place, I have no confidence in anything stated that happens here. Paul stated he had a target on him,and anyone he knew was included in that targeting by the city. He said a friend was cited several times and it was at the mayors request.

He said there were a lot of political scandal here in Mckeesport and most people I talk to know it at only the mention of the word Mckeesport!

I spoke with him about very important matters, it seems his trust was betrayed by people claiming to be his friend.

When the current mayor was told a video existed as to harassment of someone threatening someone's life on it, he stated he don't care! I have the video, and that needs to be shown on the news, who would like to have such and see how it got allowed in Mckeesport.

Mckeesport is a scandal. I'm showing the video!

You know the current mayor yelled at several people and had a fit on simple questioning of legitimate concerns? The mayor needs to get the help he needs, and many people know it. A lot of people at several churches he has appeared at do not believe in the current mayors intentions. As he appears from church to church sitting there silent, and accepting praise, when praise should be about God! It is foul for any church to make a big deal about any mayor and the mayor never to appear again until called upon by the churches!
God is Good, God is Great: We as citizens need God, not the mayor in church seeming to be praised!

Some people asked Paul Shelly to do something about some innocent people! Same people went to others: lied about the reasons, twisting the truth. The same people did not vote for Paul Shelly, only wanted to use him.

Paul Shelly had no malice, nor intentions about anyone Friday evening. In fact, he was planning to make a yard sale on Saturday by fact! How he ended up down there I may never know, and we spoke about how he could change things for the better. He had a lot of plans for moving Mckeesport forward, I think the chop job of pushing Paul's buttons was something known all to well, as if the people on here slamming him now are not on the current administration. I say Mckeesport is all scandal. Move out is the best possible advice.

Make certain to read:
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/mckeesport-pa...

The city needs God, and people need to cling to one another and pray for repentance, not only Paul or me, everyone.

Paul talk to people as though he is a part of they're family! Paul has been here on Topix by fact for around a year or more now, and no one has had any problems with him, just slammed him consistently. Now I understand his emotions, or should we say "he is from here, all people here are like that?"

Remember, we fight Ralph stated, and Ralph added, "that's just the way we are" if you mention that it is wrong.(said here on Topix by a Mckeesport resident.)

The city needs God, and people need to cling to one another and pray for repentance, not only Paul or me, everyone.

James Brewster, the mayor of Mckeesport, PA, has a wonderful online video extolling the merits of his town. We are shown scenes of McKeesport's historic library, of the rose garden section of Renzie Park, and of the new landscaping work at the Auberle Home for Boys. Mayor Brewster is proclaiming that a "renaissance" is happening in Mckeesport and states in the video that the town is a great place to live. Apparently, Brewster is trying to persuade people to move their homes and businesses into Mckeesport. However, he could have done a more effective job had he shown and described more of the community's selling points.

For Example, Brewster neglects to mention the thriving crack cocaine industry which is probably his town's biggest source of commerce, and which is booming here in spite of the economic downturn in the rest of the country. He also fails to discuss the many opportunities for pimping and prostitution that are available on the streets of Mckeesport, where hookers and pimps typically outnumber the decent citizens who sometimes risk their lives by walking through the downtown sections at night.

Brewster also fails to capitalize on another attractive feature: namely, the soaring homicide rates here in Mckeesport, where (according to online crime statistics) a person's chances of getting murdered are higher than in most towns in the Mon Valley. With the popularity of shows like NCIS, Criminal Minds & Cold Case at an all-time high, Brewster could point out that citizens in Mckeesport get a bargain deal. They don't need to pay expensive satellite TV packages in order to watch their favorite kind of entertainment. In order to view exiting police drama and violent crime, all one has to do is look out their living room window completely free of charge!

Additionally, Brewster fails to showcase the multitude of collapsing houses, decayed buildings, broken sidewalks, and weed-choked properties that give Mckeesport such a special ambiance. The unique war-torn look of the town recently attracted the producers of a major motion picture. The movie makers were filming "The Road," a grim tale of a post-apocalyptic America stricken by total social breakdown, starvation, cannibalism, and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness. The chose Mckeesport expressly because its row upon row of abandoned houses, dilapidated buildings so closely resembled the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust. By taking advantage of McKeesport's ready-made squalor, the filmmakers saved a lot of money by not having to build expensive sets of burned out buildings, ruins, and trash-strewn debris. Mckeesport could easily become a regular Hollywood hot spot for the filming of such horror movies, especially George Romero-type zombie epics. The multitude of blankly staring derelicts and shambling addicts that regularly roam the streets downtown would make perfect zombie extras!(P1)

Brewster left a lot of other appealing features out of his account of Mckeesport. There are enjoyable local sports activities like dodging bullets or trying to drive through streets without hitting throngs of drunken pedestrians or piles of debris falling down buildings. There are fascinating local family traditions such as welfare fraud, child molesting, alcoholism, and wife beating that could attract a host of sociologists into the community. There are social outlets for the kids such as street gangs, shoplifting, auto theft and mugging. The elderly enjoy sleepovers in which the happily huddle together all night listening for the sounds of prowlers, burglars and home invaders. For gun collectors, Mckeesport is a Mecca filled with enough unregistered and stolen weapons to stock the arsenals of a Baumhammer or a Poplowski ten times over. And if you want to take in an uplifting cultural event, you can always go to the Beemer's in the scenic 10'th Ward district and watch the midget strippers, or buy an inflatable love doll at the porn shop across the street!

Yes, Mayor Brewster! Mckeesport is a great place to live! Residing in your community is just like living in a movie co-written by Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, George Romero and David Lynch! And the next time you make a video, please hire these four gentlemen to script it for you. They're the only ones who could depict your "Renaissance Town" with true, unflinching accuracy.(P2)

"We would like to resolve this in a way that will satisfy the interests of McKeesport, as well as fulfill our function as a development and redevelopment organization. The money could be used for the city's capital projects," Gobel said.

"If the money belongs to the city, we have to give it back. If it belongs to the redevelopment authority, we can't legally give it to the city for their general fund, to balance their budget."

Some McKeesport residents have grumbled about the building's ownership since Strong Partners, of Reno, Nev., bought it for $600,000 three years ago.

Many have questioned the motives of those trying to develop the Peoples Building, particularly after Strong Partners sold the building for $2 million to its parent company, Geneva Equities, shortly after buying it from the city of McKeesport.

Elash disputes Donato's assessment of lawsuit
By JENNIFER R. VERTULLO, Daily News Staff Writer
10/19/2007

In March, Donato filed a civil suit against Brewster and the city based on Section 1805 of the home rule charter, which limits political activity of city employees. The suit named three individuals who allegedly violated the provision by seeking school board seats: Police Lt. Joseph Lopretto, Detective Christopher Halaszynski and Recreation Director Jim Brown.

Tension continues to build over a lawsuit that was dismissed in favor of Mayor James Brewster and the city of McKeesport.
