The Sinatra impersonator singing fly the indicted to the county jailhouse! How about Fly the McKeesport city solicitor to the hospital for song choices? No? The song get tanked on city time in the city hall suite should become a McKeesport favorite!

Why argue with idiots that aren't known for fixing anything in McKeesport at city hall or McKeesport police filled city meetings? Your only doing the usual baiting police do, but everyone is well aware with corrupt towns city meetings are jokes. Your law department head breaks the law more often than a repeat offender in McKeesport. It's the laws broken not on the record that make it worse.

Arguing with corrupt council members involved in gambling isn't productive! Daniel Carr, owner of hrs Viking is one of those seated!

Let the charges stick, then go to take proper steps for you idiots to abide by the law.

Your retaliation will show to more residents as your retaliation shows. If people say more here anonymously you'll pick random targets to retaliate against. You'll have a harder time at making false charges. All false charges you do succeed at getting to make will show in the legal system. My opinion, everyone keep telling the truth anonymously online.

Sentencing Slated May 22 in Attorney's DUI Crash
http://www.tubecityonline.com/almanac/entry_2...

Category: News || By Jason Togyer

Sentencing is set for May 22 in connection with a car accident involving city Solicitor J. Jason Elash.

According to court officials, Elash, 41, of Christy Park pleaded guilty Monday before Allegheny County Judge Edward Borkowski to three related counts of driving under the influence, including driving with a blood-alcohol content level between 0.10 and 0.16, and to one count of driving at an unsafe speed.

Free pass already used?

Feedback on “Sentencing Slated May 22 in Attorney's DUI Crash”

Anyone who has already been given the “benefit of the doubt” once as far as driving under the influence has used up their “free pass” in my eyes.

Anyone who drives drunk a second time should face the full penalties of the law regardless of whether that person is an attorney or not.

Hopefully that will be the case here.

There should be no excuse. One run in with the law should be enough to modify someone’s actions.

As far as his law license? We hold people to no standards anymore.

Shouldn’t an attorney – someone who is supposed to know the ramifications of law – be held to a higher standard than us mere mortals?

Someone who takes the lives of others in his hands by drunk driving not just once but twice, and is only found out by crashing through buildings (how many times did he drive drunk and NOT get caught?) is obviously not able to handle his own actions. That person should be looked at very closely as to whether he is capable of handling important law related needs of others when he cannot manage his own behaviors.

-
Keep in mind, reprimands are private for these law practitioners. I think the public should be informed of all reprimands and punshments or lack thereof. After a second DUI, full charges should apply. Elash received a second free pass as a connection to McKeesport gave a favor. Of course as Cherepko provided Porky with favors discovered by wiretap, Elash received the same favors in this case.

McKeesport, PA. is full of cover ups and favors to the politically connected.

Cherepko refused to fire Elash. Elash received reduced charges for a second DUI. Elash is currently still the McKeesport city solicitor. City solicitors aren't full practitioners of the law, lacking the proper credentials. To lie on matters of law as Elash continues to do is at issue.

McKeesport is a dishonest run city with dishonest city solicitor.

Elash worked for several years, hired by Brewster the former McKeesport mayor, now senator after endorsed by Sean Logan. Sean Logan was working for UPMC, now for Monroeville tourism.

McKeesport, PA., Most corrupt city in McKeesport.

How many DUI counts should Elash have that he wasn't caught for? Keep drinking out of the jug of tea and remain sober Elash.

Your plate numbers are recorded for public safety.

McKeesport was called "the machine" for years because city officials prospered via illegal gambling.

The illegal indictments have been handed out, but city hall in McKeesport is connected. 16 indicted to date, but will the current councilman get to keep his job? McKeesport police frequent The Viking constantly, and knew all along. Several former police including former McKeesport high ranking officer Holtzman were indicted. Holtzman ran for judge in McKeesport the first year Riazzi was in the running. Can you imagine if Holtzman was indicted as a current judge in McKeesport?

McKeesport is a very mixed up city, with laws enforced depending on whom is involved. The current McKeesport police worked alongside most of the current officers. These were superiors and part of officer mentality, part of how the current McKeesport police department operates.

Its the same McKeesport police department forging judges names in the McKeesport Pay Scam. McKeesport politicians protected those officers and Elash admits the Pay Scam investigation is ongoing. You cannot trust any police officers in McKeesport because the Pay Scam officers kept police jobs!

Brewster protected them, Elash hired by Brewster continued the cover up. The excuse of ongoing investigation leaves all the public at risk.

If the will illegally gamble, forge judges names, lie about work, we cannot assume they have a limit! They may be involved in other crimes, and officers not indicted and named in the McKeesport police pay scam (see news) can be involved in drugs, you cannot trust any of them. Brewster protected all of the names of the officers involved.

The Viking was more the political hangout than Tiger Town or Lucas. Viking Bar in McKeesport, owned by current indicted councilman Daniel Carr has been open many years.
http://thenewviking.com/restaurant.asp

The Viking new appearance was paid for with the illegal gambling money. Employees can be off duty McKeesport police officers and relatives.

McKeesport police and politicians simply cannot be trusted.

And that is a conservative estimate, in my opinion. My guess is that once Gergely made the call to Porky, the AG was in a position to wiretap Gergely's office. If his chief of staff said the wrong thing to the grand jury, he could have been hit with a perjury count. Maybe the AG allowed the chief of staff to wear a wire.
The next time you see Brewster or Gergely with a shovel, it won;t be for a groundbreaking ceremony; they'll be finishing up digging their own graves.
McKeesport political hounds do a excellent job of ruining themselves. They come on Topix and say they don't care, voters are to blame, guessing this n' at. The best McKeesport political government handout receivers may do is pretend. Why would anyone attend a council meeting? Why watch what they do best, argueing amongst themselves? I can't go, I have a job in the evening anyway. I don't like to be unproductive, and don't live in the area. McKeesport is dwindling in population, too many shootings that can hurt residents like last night. If the population isn't diminishing from moving out, murders are a McKeesport problem.

Looks like everyone is going to walk who was indicted in the gambling ring. Brewster played the catholic card. Look for everyone to receive probation and small fines.

Brewster demanded what he wanted for his soldiers and the Zappala Crime Family/Terrorist Group will be able to make everything go away.

Watch for delays and more delays. Just like in the Cornell Sex Scandal, Tanya Kach scandal, detective overtime scandal and so many more we don't even know about.

For those of you who have tried to do the right thing, beware of retaliation. It can take many forms an it comes from all directions.

This should give you an idea of just how corrupt PA really is.

Don't be surprised if something far worse goes wrong, such as McKeesport goes broke. When the money is all gone from the government western Pennsylvania handouts, its over. It's all based on the money, and Catholics are going to be out of buildings as well.

The private Catholic school closing coupled with the Catholic building losses are steady. Catholic abandoned and demolished buildings are going to be another monetary loss.

Brewster isn't Catholic according to sources, but he'll become anything if it will score him a favor.

Emergencies are another set of woes on McKeesport not withstanding shootings in the area.

I think the money from Porky will be gone if illegal gambling and money ventures are watched. All the AG and FBI need to do is keep a eye on Porky (Ronald Melocchi), rep. Gergely, Brewster and the mayor. They are all tied in together with Elash, washing each others criminal dirt.

The AG needs to keep watching them, and find the next criminal activity venture. Once public, everyone will ask (while money and McKeesport population) deteriorate, "why does Zappalla and everyone allow this criminal activity to continue?" But remember, this favor is from Porky already receiving favors. Mayor Mike Cherepko is also involved, but how long will the money last.

More problems are multiplying for these political government handout personalities. The end is not in sight.

Zappala allows the criminal activity because it feeds the mob. I know Brewster isn't catholic but local, county and state governments and the Pittsburgh media have been covering up crimes of pedophile priests and homosexual priests since John Wright was bishop in Pittsburgh Diocese.

There are simply enough catholics and corrupt politicians in western PA so many crimes were covered up. Zappalas made a fortune off the church and still are. From lucrative contracts to cash payments. The mob and the catholic church are cash cows.

Lou Washowich, Tom Brletic and Brewster know the details of some of the cover-ups. They have played the catholic card and they will continue to win and win big.

I don't expect big wins, nor forsee any big wins. Just because they shown you they can get big wins and have for a while, doesnt mean it will. You haven't seen a win until you least expect one you want. McKeesport is finished, more is expected to come out.

If Zappala let's them go, something larger will occur shortly after. Not only will the area get worse and illegal activity increase, but the city will falter. The Catholic Church has lost immense ground in affairs, people are turning away. With that, McKeesport is also diminishing in population meanwhile.

Emergencies will take the rest. McKeesport politics are already a loser. Nothing useful has ever come out if McKeesport, short of government handouts.

Winning by way if corruption isn't winning.

McKeesport is loaded with abandoned houses, corruption in politics, government handouts, illegal gambling and the loss of surplus. The mounting deficit coupled with the loss of funds and large amount of city employees is a juggernaut fail for McKeesport.

Now, the entire tax base is lost with houses burned, abandoned and a loss of amount of population moving out. For every business that has moved in, several have moved out.

The 5th Avenue business area is a wreck, and all the Peoples Building was purchased for is a tax write off.

Winning corrupt favors without a city to win them for is fruitless.

McKeesport council voted on Wednesday to allow Mayor Michael Cherepko to tap into his reserve fund to make payroll and pay bills.

Cherepko said the city's overall deficit by the end of the year may reach $2 million, but bills and employees need to be paid now.

Council's approval came because of a heated exchange between Cherepko and council president Darryl Segina.

Cherepko asked for the motion several times at the meeting, explaining that without access to the approximately $900,000 in reserve, the city would not be able to pay its regular obligations.

No money, no place to receive favors for. It's all over for McKeesport.
