Yep! Nice editorial in today's (1.8.13) Daily News. Mikey just does not get it! You got questioned again.

You got caught in a lie and cannot explain how you slicked $1 million out of your puppet MACM board without any sewage rate fee increases.

It seems like you fabricated a little ($1 million) fib and then got exposed by your favorite news media. And, now the ligation from other communities will squeeze the truth out of you. Is this malfeasance, misfeasance or stupidity? May be the courts will get to decide.

Mikey that is what the DN editor said about your bogus and the sources of your $1 million host fee shakedown.

He said it Mikey!

The clumsy and vengeful discharge of the Beatle was another Not So Smart Move.

Time will tell if this could be a boomerang catastrophic decision with wide a city sweeping trajectory.

What could one expect with the 2X DUI solicitor quarterbacking the verbal assault on the Beatle.

Read in Wednesday's Daily News that the Mayor is very upset about an "unnamed city official" doing something or other at some unnamed city business. Goofiest DN article I've read in a while because it really didn't tell the reader anything. I would imagine every city official could be considered a suspect. But a suspect in or of what? Asking for business records?! I did feel a liitle better when I read the City Solicitor agrees with the Mayor. Afterall, he knows the difference between right and wrong. Right?

Many suspect it was the Controller trying to do his job. But I do not buy that fairytale.

Some tell me that the controller and mayor are chummy and always exchange terms of endearment at city hall. They mutually admire and respect each other.

They just ham it up a little in a public council meeting for the benefit fooling the public. It was staged when Council President Cherepko had the controller ejected from a council meeting. This was a real live Academy Award performance by both. So far the public has been hoodwinked.

Councilman McCall is also part of this cartel and act. The councilman is a neighbor of the controller and both live in affluent Haler Heights. As MASD Steve would say “they are good neighbors.” And, good neighbors always are always friends according to Steve.

Neighbors of the school building contract reference. Classic comment. McCall almost was escorted out before.

In response to the increased amount of health care fraud in the United States, Congress, through the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), has specifically established health care fraud as a federal criminal offense with punishment of up to ten years of prison in addition to significant financial penalties.

I cannot comprehend were the poster is going with this one? Or does the poster just want to share information?

Just who would have any reason to commit health care fraud with such super city health insurance coverage?

It there something that we do not know about?

I think, if not all, most of the city hall employees know exactly what you are alluding to. Your comment should suggest when or if it will leak out of city hall to the street and general public?

In the interim, we will keep our ears to the ground and listen at the area fast food establishments where the senior citizens congregate and share all the city covert buzz.

We thank Jean and Tiffiny for years of service and wish the best in their new endeavors.

A defense team would never be needed. Some claim that the Port is corruption free and on its way to restore Pride and Honesty. With the gaming machines reduced significantly we are bringing it back faster than an AG raid scooping up the slots.

Not sure Corbett would share your opinion.
The state granted the DA millions to enforce the state law.

Then why are Mike and his cohorts secretly discussing MACM layoffs or early retirements or dismissals like the excellent superintendent that Mike arranged to have fired? How about a possible MACM O/T freeze? Mikey runs the MACM.

Yes the city may be in much better and honest hands when the authorities clutch or pinch one or more of the local elected officials or compensated appointed employees or slot machine actors for their notorious misdeeds.

It is not if but when with the BP operator indictment looming, the elusive or covered up MPD bogus overtime matter, indictments for the alleged over 70 slot machine sites and over 400 machines confiscated, speculated $1 million host fee legal action by several neighboring communities, three or elected official engaged in hosting slot machines in the City, the questionable firing of the City Administrator, the questionable firing of the MACM Superintendent (law suit on the way), the rumored firing of two other high ranking compensated appointed City employees, the alleged link of federally connected Mr. Imbrogno to the MHA, why the elected officials and MPD permitted the City illegal slot machines, pending law suits from threatened city employees, possible disqualification of the esteemed city solicitor, etc.

If any of the above results in indictments, the indicted persons will be in much better and the very secure hands of the law authorities. Only time will tell but the dreaded and feared RICO demon is starting to incubate.
