so at $330.00 a month for each council member can mean that it could be a car payment and the tax payers are paying for that car. what do they work say 6 hours a month? that's over $55.00 an hour.......they should be a shamed . there should be a motion to omit council salaries the mayor has no say in it, he cant vote and he cant supress a vote to omit this unwanted stipend to each council member. hats off to fawn for bringing this up, bring it up every month ! see which puppets are owned by the mayor..

Segina is correct, McKeesport has politicians that support raises with freezes, pay reductions and extra input into medical benefits expected of all other city employees. The way to even the playing ground is for workers to make the best possible use of medical benefits now. Fire Chief Lust deserves physical therapy at the very least. He is needed to help at fires in McKeesport and he needs to be supported, looking ok isn't always accurate.
The miscellaneous (over $600,000) may be from the illegal gambling machines or other dubious forms of income. Inflated expected McKeesport pre tax collection figures are wrong. McKeesport is losing population, houses burned down, and emergencies can occur. Numerous houses are abandoned, most residents are poor or middke class going below the poverty line. Any loss expectation figures for emergencies? No, because politicians need to expect more, over value business in McKeesport to bring in more to receive higher loans, if the city are eligible for loans, banks should be aware. These politicians only plan to line pockets and reward non tax paying city solicitor, John Jason Elash at all residents expense. John Jason Elash owes the IRS, gets free rent already at McKeesport city hall, and has proven to black eye the city in a negative second DUI crash at 716 Long Run Road. He was drunk driving, speeding, wreckless and careless as usual.

Segina should have access to McKeesport reserve amounts at all times. I suspect they will use the money secretly, behind residents and everyone's backs. He will say, after everyone forgets about the approval that the permission carries until denied for the entire surplus amount.
McKeesport council should revoke the permission with a new vote at time of need for the surplus. With McKeesport booming to get bank money on the records, remind the government McKeesport doesn't need any free handouts or loans.
McKeesport is self sufficient on its own, everything is fine. John Jason Elash and Tedesco receive raises. Elash $15,000 and Tedesco about $5,000 with all McKeesport employees a pay freeze with pay reduction askance!
Did they account for icy patches and a harsh winter in McKeesport? No, these aren't forward thinking politicians, still refusing to plan to pay themselves.
Investigate all budget figures thoroughly, because raises were given with all other employees on freeze, receiving pay reduction requests from Elash and the mayor. McKeesport employees are also asked to give more to medical benefits with benefit decreases for employees expected.
The budget cannot be correct by these careful considerations.
