Respectfully dis-agree 'old timer'. Part of the fees paid at one time by the 'church groups ' covered utilities & clean-up . Knew many people who home cooked for the Swedish Booth & knew the costs . Many booths now are operated by the greedy MDC hacks kickback pals . Show me da money pals.
God Bless the few local churches that still manage to get the people out to work so hard to prepare , transfer & sell their ethnic foods . They surely deserve the monies made to support church functions . Don't question them !
Question the political liars that can't stand to see money being made when some isn't going their way . Ex:- gate receipts & city booth sales . They are far worse than the mod because they are stupid & have inbreds working for them . Buy them a beer or two at the local pub while their bitching about their given jobs & they sing like canaries. Maybe soon , Mikey will teach them to warble & whistle . Where's the damn money going ?

How many times do we have to explain it to you Elash.
No one hides on meeting night, they know if they go retaliation is the end result. After all, you are Brewster and Elash and both of you are known for retaliation. Most are simply allowing you to destroy yourselves with pride. Ego is your worst enemy in these times, you are your very worst own enemies with pride.
McKeesport meetings are small and very controlled by the multiple DUI city solicitor and friends. Results for some of you such a Daniel Carr, McKeesport councilman now indicted are on the council. Meetings in McKeesport aren't very intelligently run, with the power hungry residing over all concerns.
Do you ever receive the answer of do you repeatedly ask like John Jason Elash dies. You cannot bait the intelligent to willingly go into a jungle such as McKeesport council meetings.
Your only able to bait people with your attitude and you haven't any charisma. You lost on many points if your trying to bait or play with emotions. No one is immature as you, the McKeesport city solicitor with multiple DUI and owing the IRS as you do John Jason Elash.
Your meetings are petty. The AG took care of most concerns to date. Your about to implode from within, you've already started. Your past news Elash, you've been fired by too many cities and townships already. Quit drinking and driving yet? We did ask you about your insurance, has your carrier dropped you yet?
Your online repeated rants about storming city hall and attending lame McKeesport meetings is a joke altogether! You need mental help John Jason Elash. Stop running into buildings as you last did on 716 Long Run Road while drunk in your white Cadillac Escallade. Get anymore lemons from Steele City Auto? Junk dealer. The business you represent John.

so everyone is scared to attend meetings?
how pathetic is that?
you mean we have more power than hundreds of people that stay away from fear?
and people wonder why we pull shady stuff ,with no questions asked, no concerns, really ?
so everyone is balless and a coward to stand up to the scum that steals all your money, really?
oh man this is amazing...i just think people are cowards in real life and would rather spew garbage on topix instead of telling someone off face to face, and you wonder why the city is going to go broke.
can the machine be that powerful, that strong,??
so we got you all cornered like little mice in a cage.HAAAAA!!!!!!!
wait til i tell the crew.........
i knew the people of mckeesport were dumb but never figured they were that stupid HAAA!

Big problem here is that these career, connected political hacks still act like it's 1970, with business booming & nearly 50,000 people all from 'WORKING CLASS ' backgrounds . Kickbacks galore & everybody paying off .
Fast forward - 2013 - 18,000 people , likely half of them Section 8 & welfare controlled. Why do we need so many politicians - why is everyone sucking money from the city or skool bored & authorities all RELATED to some political hack , either thru nepotism , cronyism or kissassysm ??
Not any businesses to shakedown anymore - so now it's necessary to rely on the Gubmint , like the other welfare beggars. It's proven they take money from illegal gambling . Are they also bought out from the big money dope dealers ? Seen any drug busts since Kucich ? What's that say , if anything ??

[QUOTE It's proven they take money from illegal gambling. Are they also bought out from the big money dope dealers? Seen any drug busts since Kucich? What's that say, if anything?
Some elementary calculus is a real eye opener on the potential illegal income from those illegal video poker machines. And, the mystery about how it is distributed.
The City Coffee Pot had 6 devices installed and earned about $5000 to $7000 a week according to the Post Gazette. We will assume that this is gross income for the Coffee Pot that has to shared with the location and machine owner Mr. Porkster.
To be conservative let us consider the lower amount of $5,000 a week for six devices. That computes to $275,000 per year. Some 360 devices were confiscated by the PSP and AG. Therefore, using the Coffee Pot as a statistical basis then in theory these 360 devices spread over some 60 location would gross about $16,500,500 a year.
Let us assume that the device owner is a benevolent businessman who shares 60% for the house (i.e.;, the spots) and the businessman Mr. Porkster realizes 40%.
The calculus computes that Operation Pork Chop could then realize some $6,600,000 a year. Next, let us assume that we way over estimated machine income and that Mr. Porkster only realized 25% of that amount or a paltry $1,650,000 a year.
Note he claimed that he paid income tax on about $350,000 each year. What makes anyone think that the authorities and IRS are not excellent with calculus?
Now where did the theoretical balance of $1,300,000 go Mr. Porkster? I am sure you now understand why the authorities nailed you with over 50 indictment counts and you drew a lot of phone tap attention.
I am sure the question that everyone is terrified to ask is: Was any of this money used to purchase and then own the City and MPD and the City Mayor as you proclaimed on the wire tap? You said you owned the Port and the mayor and then bragged about it Mr. Porkster!
Was any of these $$$$$$$$ used to influence a hiring decision by the MASD where one school board member was indicted and one school board member is a staffer for a state elected official who admitted on a phone tap that he is connected to Mr. Porkster?
IMO it is that speculated and theorized that the destinations and distributions of the $1,300,000 (as a minimum) is what the authorities will try to extract from those subpoenaed by the state grand jury, the several confidential informants, those interviewed but not subpoenaed, the volunteer tipsters, sting operations, pleas bargains for those indicted, and witnesses at the pending trials. These are potential gold mines of information.
I hope for the sake of curtailing any more negativity heaped on our beloved City, a councilperson, and two former police offices that the big money is traced to banks in that very mountainous country in Central Europe that does not have its own language.

the state seized 1.1 million ,did you forget?
#525 Nov 25, 2013
No, I was fully aware of that reported stashed loot. There are many wild street vibes about who had it stashed and where it was stashed. I am sure that at least one of the stories is true. I considered some of it was just profits accumulated and stashed from the weekly revenue streams over time.
I also heard the wild street vibe that there was more than greenbacks confiscated from a safe at one local City location. This is just street vibes and only the PSP and AG know the inventory of the safe.
I think the news media reported that some grass was found somewhere in West Newton. Maybe that is why either Brewster or Cherepko appointed the subject as Chairman of the McKeesport Recreation Committee. He does not even live in the City but he is big into recreation!
The big question is how did Mr. Porkster get to own or influence control of the City, MPD, and MASD? Who did he purchase this influence from and what was the transfer of influence price? IMO this could be what these investigations are all about. This influence was not owned by the janitor, office clerk, or the mail man.
The answer to this riddle may be a passport to the slammer for some. The esteemed local State Representative was captured on tape when he proclaimed on a sting operation tapping that he was connected to Mr. Porkster and that he wanted to take care (or protect) Mr. Porkster. Wow! That is not wise to have that on tape.
This has the characteristics of a self and public indictment.
All the above is pure speculation based on Pittsburgh news media reports from the 134 page search warrant affidavit. Some street vibes are mixed in. But only the AG and PSP have the indisputable evidence and IMO we the public only know a small tip of their growing iceberg.
The Feds have not publicly weighed in on the gambling machine matter. The issues of federal, state, and local income and business privilege tax are sleeping giants.
And, the dreaded RICO act which seems to fit these illegal organized operations has been mysteriously silent so far. I would guess that the authorities would use or are using that for leverage when breaking bread with the indicted or those who maybe indicted according to street vibes.
I think the authorities have the indicted ring leaders right were they want them. We just have to wait out the plea bargain defenses or the 2014 trials.
#526 Nov 26, 2013
Locals in West Newton said there was an attempt to burn money & also the threat to dismantle the house if the money & slips weren't 'given up'. And this was from business owners in the area.
Grass isn't our problem here - are they connected & getting money from the crack & heroin dealers in these mob-valley boros. No such thing as drug raids or busts anymore . Wuts up wid dat ??
#528 Dec 18, 2013
May be the authorities do not have to go there to the drugs when they have a stack of charges against the 16 indicted at this time. Drugs knowledge may be the plea bargain card to play to reduce charges including the very serious felony charges. We got to wait this one out until spring.
Mr. Porky is well over 50 charges deep and several have F1 felonies charges. These are serious and life changing charges, if they prevail, which I believe they will prevail with all the phone line taps, informants, plea bargains, and tipsters evidence. It seems like a recipe for "pooled pork," not pun intended.
I would speculate that if these charges do not stick then the authorities would move into other alleged infractions.
Let us not forget so far the untouchables and other Federal entities have not be heard from yet. It is hard to believe that they are disinterested at this time. Especially after how intensive they seem to be investigating the Pittsburgh boy mayor.
We have to let the law authorities play out their strategies.

Will 2014 be the year the gutless boro council-persons will have the spine to take off the muzzle & beg for IV gate & boro boof financial accountability ?? Finally ?? Or will the monies continue to disappear into that MDC greedy black hole of kickbacks ??
#530 May 29, 2014
I think the Machine should get a 50% taste of the IV. I'm so Damn stinking old my opinions are FACTS. If you disagree with me then you're gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that, girly man.
#531 May 29, 2014
you're a real fukwad dude
#532 May 30, 2014
The IV is a line item revenue source for their sinister scheme to bleed the public with their eyes wide shut.
The integrity of IV leadership is suspect with a few IRS liens and an indictment. Street rumor has it that the Palisades is paying him under the table with cash. Where are you IRS when we need you.
#533 May 31, 2014
I think McK should give back to the Machine and all of its goodness. Would it hurt to thank the machine every once in a while. How about bending over and receiving the Machine's love. A little kindness might even get you a reach around Machine affection.
#534 May 31, 2014
The IV gates have paper trials.
The two dollars of my paper money travel from my wallet to my hand to the gate collection box.
Some of the paper money in the collection box get folded and hidden into their hand and then travels into their deep pockets.
And then the papers money travels from their deep pockets to the Mob Valley video machine slots and then into the pockets of the 16 persons indicted but freed by AG Cane and IRS does not access any tax on unreported income.
This is justice for all who are well connected.
#535 May 31, 2014
It's all good as long as my peeps get a taste. Crush, Crumble, Destroy. Bend over and assume the get Machine love position.
#536 Jun 1, 2014
But, it is more than a taste. It is the whole meal!
The meal consists of the greens from the IV, Palisades, Rib Cook Offs, Catering Services, Ice Cream concessions stand, the 50-50 or less drawings, and illegally using City resources for business by an indicted elected official which is a violation of the State Code of Ethics.
Not to mention that the Palisades has not had a audit or filed required federal income tax forms for a non-profit.
Where are you feds and IRS? This is flagrant public corruption.
