You are dead wrong! How did he get 30 days house arrest? That's send offense mandatory min! 1 year license suspension, again 1st offense 60 days suspension!

Elash is a big nerd wearing suspenders and trying to appear like a old time attorney. He doesn't even have the proper credentials of a true professional. Any solicitor for a city can play on Topix and keep trying to bury subjects. Respond something ignorant then bury it. How many nasty subjects did you bring to the top this time McKeesport city solicitor?

Ditch and run drunk in your McKeesport city building office you have rent free? Or do you just drink on occasion in the private city hall rooms? Keep breaking the law and keep your job, that's better than anyone can get!

McKeesport Solicitor John Jason Elash Faces DUI Trial
By William Peacock, Esq. on
May 1, 2012 3:12 PM

A local municipal official faces a criminal trial resulting from a January DUI, after waiving his preliminary hearing on Monday morning, reports the Pittsburg Post-Gazette. John Jason Elash is the Solicitor for McKeesport and has held similar positions with a number of towns over the course of his long legal career. A Solicitor is essentially a jack of all trades attorney for the city that researches and advises them on legal issues and regulations.
According to the Post-Gazette, Elash was leaving the inauguration party for Mayor Michael Cherepko when he crashed his SUV into a building in the 700 block of Route 48. After being taken to the hospital for a head injury, his blood alcohol content was allegedly measured at 0.196, which is more than twice the legal limit. He was also cited for speeding.
If he is convicted of a highest-level BAC (0.16 or higher) first time DUI offense, he faces some pretty severe penalties. The charge carries a minimum of 72 hours in jail, with a maximum of six months.
Because he was in an accident, he probably won't get the minimum penalty. There is also a fine of $1,000 to $5,000 and a 12 month license suspension, plus alcohol education classes and possible court ordered alcohol treatment.

More indictments are coming.

John Elash did say (like Pittsburghs Donaldson) put on Topix that nothing would ever happen as to any indictments in McKeesport. You already have 16 you claimed wouldn't be forthcoming.

How's the denials (by the McKeesport book) working out for you? Not very well.

We have interest from Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation
in finding a way to save and re-use this building. This effort has the support
and encouragement of Mayor Regis McLaughlin and other officials,
including State Senator Jim Brewster.
But these folks cannot wait forever-and the window of opportunity
is closing. And besides being a historic landmark, the Penn-McKee occupies
a prime location on a busy commercial street. Why should taxpaying
businesses and residents of the McKeesport area allow the building to
remain an eyesore?

This historic structure is beginning to deteriorate even more rapidly. I
am in Downtown McKeesport practically every day, and I can document
that new evidence of vandalism appears regularly-windows are being
smashed and walls are being covered with fresh graffiti.

If Ms Huk is a preservationist, why isn't she securing this building?
Why isn't she protecting it from the elements? Why are the taxes unpaid?
Why are no utilities connected?

His closet was purchased with his wife's lottery winnings. John Jason Elash insurance for auto and life is higher or cancelled.

John aka Jason Elash, how much did your insurance go up or did the carrier cancel you? You tell us the new news in McKeesport city solicitor.

Elash so concerned about all of the unsolved murders? He will demand his police to step it up? That'd be best. Or, is Topix his main focus of work only for the city of McKeesport?

First offenders get ARD. 30 day license suspension and no jail or house arrest
He got 30 days house arrest and one year license suspension, exact same as any other person who gets their second DUI. He now gets paid less than half of what he made in McKeesport before. Not before the DUI, pay was cut in half by Segina Walker and Soles and AJ, only way they would let mayor rehire him. All that punishment was because he helped mike instead of rege Darryl or AJ, if they were so "above the law" why did he get standard punishment? Making peanuts because he is at City every day and makes only half and no benefits.
Show publicly the contract. He's probably paid a lot under the table.

In other news, is Lucas closed or closing?

But no public citizen seen a contract and politicians including Elash can be answering lies for himself on Topix. He is a Topix celebrity.

Judge: McKeesport cut corners, but not as promised

Thursday, October 22, 2009
By Moriah Balingit, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

McKeesport has installed only about half of the curb cuts it was required, though this number is disputed in court filings. Additionally, Ms. Mamas said in court filings that city Solicitor Jason Elash repeatedly ignored phone calls and letters from her in 2008 and 2009, then failed to show for a December committee meeting.

Last week, Ms. Mamas and city officials agreed on a stringent new timeline for a completion of the requirements, one that holds the city to a $100-a-day fine if it fails to comply. The city also agreed that it would be unable to complete the remaining curb cuts before the original deadline of Dec. 31, 2009.

Some sidewalks have holes with yellow tape. Curb cuts were not continued.

The AG needs to revisit on McKeesport residents behalf. If McKeesport failed, throw this charge violation up again. Take all the money, the corruption will cease.

The closet is closed and secured.

The esteemed City employee won this one and is emboldened to move on and up.

If the despicable MDC endorses him, he will become an honorable judge and rule on alleged City corruptions. That is just the way it is.
