We have listed the four incumbents and other names we have heard who may be considering a run. None have announced officially we believe. If that is incorrect, or someone else want to run, this would be a great place for them to announce their intentions. Let's try to keep this positive and useful. Keep bashing Paul if you have to in order to keep the arrows away from these folks. If you pick "Other", add that persons name via comment here. I purposely didn't vote for anyone to keep this poll fair and unbiased. We want to know who the people want and perhpas how that person is set up with grass roots support at this point.

Thank god you didnt vote.. We would not want the Marxist Shelly machine to say the vote totals in anyway. Knowing the caliber of the Marxist Shelly Machine, we know better than to think you guys would do anything like that. What a great bunch of above the board Shelly Machine supporters you are. Mike Shelly is the likable Shelly Brother. Is he really running? Sluggo hasn't said so to me. Who is this C.M.? I hear he has enlisted an out of towner who has great info on both of Paul's primary opponents.

If you guys tink Paul had anything to do with Aj and Fawn getting eleted you guys are wrong wrong wrong. Why did Fawn and AJ denounce their association with Paul. Fawn and AJ worked hard to win that election and Paul had NOTHING to do with it. He wants you to think that but then again theres a lot of things he wants you to believe.

Dude, he had their signs in his yard. You can go to Paulshelly.com and search their names and all you will see is positve things he says about them. Without Paul's support, I don't vote for them and neither does his base, which is at least 700 right? Get over yourself. Next to Donato, Paul has no equal in McKeesport as a political mind.

Shelly and Murphy were quite a tandem on the hardwood before Keith left for Serra Catholic. I wouldn't be shocked if team Shelly was pushing Keith. Bright young man. Easily the strongest black candidate in this race.

Take out Austin, insert Regis, you have the likely top four in 2011. I bet if Regis ran for Mayor, Shelly (Paul) would wait his turn and run for Council President. He's always respected Regis. Time will tell. Rege would murder anyone in the race for mayor. Not because he is the brightest, though he is street smart, but because he has provided the most in ways of public service.

Paul and Rege haven't discussed such a thing (yet). You do make an interesting point. That would give Paul more time to solidify his business. I'll take it to him. If he is anything, it is open-minded.
