Didnt porky put machines in Rege Mclaughlins Elbow Benders Association? It says that clearly in the affidavit, the pork talks about it!! Says meeting with Mclaughlin's former partner ken kohl to put them in! Why is he dropping dimes when he actually profited from the illegal activity if he had the machines in his bar? Why isn't he charged? Is he a rat on this or what? He was mayor by default for a few minutes, right? He must be wetting his pants!! Or his depends!

It is not illegal to have these machines in your establishment. It is only illegal if you are caught paying out by law enforcement.

Street rumor has it that at least 25 to 35 more indictments are coming. We have to wait this one out.

The person nameed on the liquor license will be response and could be named on the indictment, if any.

What? Rege was operating poker machines in his EBA bar and was scolded many times by Brewster while Rege was Council President not to count the money from the machines at the American Legion. Then, while he is profiting from machines at the EBA he personally takes credit for a raid at the Viking Lounge under it's former owner! Isn't that racketeering? Using political position to have competitors raided? Or were McLaughlins machines they only ones really for amusement only? At both his EBA bar and the legion?

If guilty as accused by his unknown accuser he should be in the next round of indictments.

If not indicted then he is innocent, which I believe is the case.

The accuser should file a complaint with AG if he believes that Mayor Rege broke some statute. Man up and do it. It is your civic duty.

How is he innocent? He owns part of EBA. Fact.com . There have been machines there forever and according to accounts of transcript, porky states his were there! How can he be innocent? Brewster never operated machines? Rege owned other bar for years and had alot more going on, according his own drunk bragging

As Truth Cop posted previously, file a complaint with the AG or State Police who are investigating video slots. You have a civic and moral responsibility to drop a dime on him.

I wonder if former FBI agent Roger Greenbank knows how far Charles Porter has fallen from the tree.

His law firm was the solicitor for Forward Township. Another cozy relationship with the Zappala Crime Family.

Who is more trustworthy, a mobster or a politician? Ask mobster/politician DA Stephen Zappala to get the right answer.

Is it possible that DA Zappala ratted out his underlings? Who would suspect? Senator Brewster was just nominated for the Port Authority Board.

Just thinking out loud. The $1.1 million seems like a lot of money found in this investigation. That same amount can be skimmed on a good day at any on of the Zappala Crime Family casinos.

From time to time so that Synchronized Crime doesn't miss a beat, folks need to go to jail, lose their pensions, etc. Keep in mind, it's for the good of the family. Ask Vince Fumo or any of the others. The Zappala Crime Family knows how and when to make the feds look really good.

I still think Ralph told the authorities about the gambling. They started the investigation when he was awaiting sentencing.

It could be. The gambling investigations were reported to start about October 2010.

They most likely got a lot out of Imbrogno for his plea bargain.

I wonder if he/son had any contracts with the MHA that is chaired by a certain senator? This should a easy one for the authorities to investigate if Ralph spilled the paint.

According to the article in the Trib today, there's a fellow living in Clairton from the Philly area. He was friends with Little Nicky Scarfo, wonder if he's looking for Ralph.

I would say and IMO our beleaguered mayor could have a very rough next few weeks.

The statement make by the Porkster will take considerable damage control. The Porkster said he controlled the city and police. That is not good for the Porkster, Cherepko, or Brewster or police.

The spin doctors will have to increase the RPM on this one. The cat is out of the bag and the Porkster cannot un-ring the bell.

The mayor should demand that Councilman Carr resigns from ever and all city positions, immediately. He should be replaced by one of the Senator's relatives. Keep the power all in the family.

In addition, watch out for those subpoenas, indictments, tipsters, informants, moles, tails, flippers, cooperating witnesses, bugs, wired persons, telephone wire taps, unfairly fired employees, revengeful former political darlings and incredible Post Gazette news coverage.

These neutralizing and truth forces haunt the city wrong doers relentlessly.

Were any sports betting from city hall captured on the Porkster's or Red's wire tapped phone? I wonder if the winnings will donated to charities?
