What again!

Now we are down to about 145 new businesses that we cannot find!

We lost two with Hudson.

Now I can understand why the orignial new 150 new businesses cannot be found.

Let me grow my grass ,sit back, fire up a fattie and watch football. It's all good, trust me.
It amazes me they peoples' jaws drop when they hear about growing pot in their homes or yards.

At least he keeps his house nice and yard clean.

No difference between nicotine and marijuana except the government can get taxes from nicotine.

THe upside to weed is that it directly affects the snack-foods industry. LOL

The government can't tax it while it is still deemed illegal. Cannabis used to be part and parcel of every doctors retinue and there are many compelling studies that show cannabis cures a host of diseases. But big pharmaceutical companies want to debunk the studies and keep cannabis illegal BECAUSE YOU CAN'T PATENT A PLANT.

Again you get 100%.

Also, the Pot Smokers/Sellers keep the local police busy, too busy to find time to bust the crack dealers, heroin sellers, oxy peddlers. This frees up the REAL drug sellers so they can operate at Maximum Profit. If I can see/notice people buying/selling drugs, how can the police miss it? If you call the station with information, such as a description of the people involved, automobiles, license plate, where the sale took place, etc. they dutifully take the information (at least they SAY they are writing it down) and thank you politely and when pressed about what they are going to do about it, tell you that they didn't see it and therefore can't do anything about it! But they'll keep an eye out and thanks for the information.....yeah right. This past spring I watched a girl (toothless) come out of Rite Aid on Lysle and sell her pills straight to the bottle to 3 men that were standing there waiting for her. If the store has cameras, it was all captured on that film. The police, sadly, really DO NOT CARE.

More than likely the 'pot grower' that was busted was NOT your run of the mill, welfare or Section 8 thug dope seller living off their crack-ho.

A growing operation requires 'WORK & Knowledge' &
that alone would exclude the career welfare , wanna-be gangstas.

Bust someone living in a clean home but can't find a heroin or crack dealer in the Gov't. subsidized
projects or Section 8 homes paid for by the taxpayers. Rather odd, don't you think ?

There are a lot of good hard working people that still live in McKeesport...it's the politicians that keep bringing in free houses, free rent, and ignore the drugs problems...I guess that is what we hard working citizens pay them for. They have worked real hard in turning McKeesport into a giant project (except for Christy Park area). If you don't work or hardly work, go to City Hall and they will find or give you a brand new house, or fix your sidewalk, or give you money for whatever it is you need. McKeesport is the land of freebies and handouts. The politicians should be ashamed not the hardworking residents.

So the shooting this morning on 35th Street was, what, a domestic dispute?

Nope, I don't think it's odd at all. That guy got busted because someone snitched to the cops. Not a lot of that happening in the projects.
You forgot one important ingredient, WL. In addition to Work and Knowledge, a growing operation requires absolute secrecy in this part of the country.

Second time robbed by the same people? Shady. He needs a gun, and he needs to use it.

To that I would add that he needs a career makeover and a fresh new set of friends and business associates.

Illegal is illegal. He's not growin 3 rooms of weed for himself; he's sellin it to the kids that can't pass a math test. And selling shine is just as illegal. If you don't like the laws go call your Senator. That's the only way things will change for the better in this place.
