<quoted text>Orie was a BIG fish, they really arent concerned about the small hoods running these poor towns in the Mob Valley..I really dont remember when a local official was sent up the river on some small time corruption scheme. Wonder how many people campaign on council/school board/mayor's time and use workers from the borough or town to distribute literature ,aka political signs, copying literature, etc. We all know that happens...I wont even get into tax payer funded campaign money.......
Some time ago I think that a Versailles Boro elected official got some cage time for distributing thousands of buck from the home of one of his deceased constituents. This was in conflict with the persons will.

The biggest open secret is the City solicitor campaigning on city time and using their resources.

I believe that Councilman Michael Neuman got caged for unauthorized telephone line tapping of a late and former MASD school board member from Christy Park.

Mr. Neumen had it all and could have been the Port Mayor or a state elected official. All he had to do was keep his nose clean.

However, the combination of believing political infallibility and untouchableness with grandiose stupidity landed him in the cage and destroyed his super political potential.

I think the authorities nailed a police officer in WM but do not recall the details.

Like Poltergeist, the Cornell School sex scandal is back and was on the local papers front page.

But in a few days it will drop from sight forever.
Errors N Omissions

Will the errors and omissions or liability insurances satisfy Ms. D. well earned and deserved claims of harm and injustice?

I was led to believe that insurance companies may not cover fraudulent or illegal acts. This fiasco appears more like malfeasance than misfeasance or nonfeasance.

i think the money handed out to ms d will have to come out of the general funding BUT that money isnt really there........might have to seek a loan shark to pay ms d.........these cases do not accept monthly payments,it's cash on the barrel....
appeals are very expensive and not winnable in these type of cases.......insurance companies dont usally pick up the tab for wrongful discharge and incompetence when a male teacher got a slap on the wrist and the female got the most severe punishment. this is going to be an "finacial ouch" for the tax payers and black eye for the school board..........I know! lets build another school.....
more to come

Be careful with your "black eye" truthful statement. You know that the mayor, former teacher, and Cornell door security person abhors any reference to direct or implied negativity.

I agree, the clock is ticking in Ms D's favor,,,,the longer the school district takes to settle this case, the more money will have to be paid to her. She can sit back and watch the money grow.
After all it's her money that they owe her.

As a recall interest rates were reasonable back in 2005..

I just might come in my pants when the final figure comes down

Although the lawyers and courts already have a ballpark figure ,I'm sure there is a lot of zeros in that figure.

I'm so excited, this is gonna get very interesting?
Appeal or not to appeal? HMMMMMMMM??

I think the only head slaps that might get the arrogant elected officials attention are either:

1. A loss in the election like JB's seven vote loss and Barry's two/three vote loss.

2. A subpoena delivered from a county, state or federal grand jury.

3. An indictment delivered from a county, state, or federal grand jury.

Do not pick on our gregarious mayor. Street rumor has it he is participating in the Womem's Place golf meet today while the detectives try to figure out the cause of death of two persons found in a car. Bullet holes are very difficult to discern at times. Is a golf outing official black SUV business?

maybe the daily snooze can get a photo opt of the big mayor standing by his big suv holding a big nine iron?

i mean at least twice a month there is a famous politician's picture/pictures in the paper holding a golf club, breaking ground for a new school, maybe doing volunteer work ( for 15 mins ) for a food bank.......the pictures are pricless as i save them and chuckle at them when im feeling down.

Give the Mayor Mike credit. He learned very well from the senator and former mayor - control the press, control your subordinates, control the photo opts, fire anyone that does not appear to be controllable or on the team, and there is no such thing as a lie, the means justifies the end, in other words lie when cornered.

Oh no! Another photo opt at the Women's Place golf outing.

When does this guy work on bringing it back?

The City is burning with street crime and murders and our fearless leader is fiddling around with a golf club.

Street talk seems to support that all the purported investigations by the Local MPD, DA's office, County Police, State Police, State AG, Federal U.S. District Attorney, DEA, Firearms, EPA, and FBI have not uncovered any serious violations of their respective statutes.

In other words, all will walk and laugh all the way to the bank and at the ineffective law enforcement authorities.

Hence, all the persons of interest are gifted a free pass to continue their illicit businesses as usual.

This should embolden and propel these perpetrators to a higher level of criminal intent in the Mob Valley.

O what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

I am quite certain that this may apply to the financial management of the Palisades and International Village by Dan and Mike and their blind followers including councilman Keith.

Where are you Mr. Keith Murphy on this one? This is equally important as a politically correct school name for the Cornell School site. How many minorities are employed by the MACM and MHA?

No juicy gossip today only verified indictments (Magistrate Court 05-2-08) served to more than 10 involved in the video device Mob Valley investigations.

I assume more will and should follow. This is only the tip of the iceberg. They got 38 counts on the Pork. Do you think he will squeal like a pig?
