no -- just have a shared McKeesport address.

That is the way the Pittsburgh school teachers do it. They all have addresses in Pittsburh.

No one put themself in harms way more than our Mayor and it was good enough for him to live here.

Great come back -- yes they should live in the City.

Also, if I may -- all employees and elected officials should be current with all their taxes.

Just like a drug test -- all should swear under oath that they the elected officals and employees do not owe any deliquent taxes.

they should have to live in the 'downtown (and what a laugh it is to even use that term as a better one is ghetto) area not haler heights, christy park, etc. Perhaps then the voters might actually see a little improvement in the illustrious city!

Yes they should.... they are getting paid by the city. Why are the firemen paid... most cities now have volunteer departments and that seems to work well.,.. would save this city a ton on money..and maybe be able to add some additional full time police which it seems like we need more. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

Well, not to split hairs but they are being paid through the city, not by the city. Much like your section 8 program, most of the money used to pay the police, and maybe even fire, is a federal freebie. The city alone could not financially support a lawn crew let alone the police department. I guess we should also get after those people behind on their taxes that live in Mt. Lebanon too. Let them know that it effects our way of life.

I think you only swear on a drug test when you fail it.

Why should they when others who work here "prefer to live some place nice" not only are free to do so, but are given a free ride on taxes as a reward for doing so? Of course, THOSE bums do have union cards and therefore may do as they please -- once you are LICENSED TO KILL very few other restraints apply.

This town needs more police and firefighters! No way volunteers could handle all the calls. I sit at work and watch the fire trucks pass numerous times a day going to god only knows what. Too many fires for volunteers. I believe the fire hall has saved quite a few lives over the past couple years. I would gladly pay extra for their services. FYI I just did some searches and volunteers in PA are on the decline big time! No thanks I don't want my families life and mine in jeopardy. We definitely need more police as well. I don't want to see and kind of public safety cut in this city.

It seems that certain people in McKeesport have a T-Bone appitite on a welfare budget. If it take a reduction in lets say full-time employees to keep this community afloat then why not? I have heard of MANY city employees living outside of McKeesport and our local leaders do nothing. Lets look at other much larger communitees that have smaller police departments, volunteer fire departments ect. Wake up. Look at the population decline and we still maintain the same or more number of employees all the while a buisness that shows a decline of sales makes cuts to survive. Like the SS McKeesport we are a sunken ship.

These situations did not spring up over night. They were here for the seven years of His Honor.

But he and council were too focused on retaining votes and working on their next elected positions.

In addition His Honor knew about everything in the Delta Report and implemented most of the recommendations. If you do not believe that, then just inquire with him.

Actually, I think he would probably direct his anger to those filthy shithole bums who helped give us Barack Obama. The MonValley will REALLY be "some place nice" when they and their shithole families finally ALL go back to hell -- like "good" shithole bums

You can't get elected unless you promise a job afterwards to who used to be an old ward boss. You can't get your way after the election unless you give a job to every step-cousin twice-removed on both sides of the family.

Now that you have proven once more that you as worthless as any other shithole bum or the garbage you produce in your shitholes, maybe we can actually discus the subject.

Why should government employees be required to live a certain place if a filthy shithole bum is free to live wherever he please?

Why shouldn't these shithole bums who "prefer to live some place nice" not be assessed occupation privilege and income taxes?

Because they have union cards? They should get a tax PENALTY for that one!

No one should have to take up the slack of you shithole bums just so you can murder innocent people. What have you ever contributed to the MonValley besides garbage, poison gas and of course a HUGE pile of rotting corpses?

Answer please....or just burn your union card and stick to what shithole bums are good for -- GETTING DRUNK!!!
