Great Pizza & Sandwiches!

Looking for something Different.
Excellent Smoked BBQ Chops, Ribs, kolbassi, & Baked Beans!

I'm not a huge fan of smoked BBQ but this has a suttile smoky flavor.

MUST TRY

We patronized the place several times before the county wide smoking ban in Sept 2008.

We would have visited more frequently but my wife and I did NOT relish the smoke - even at no extra charge.

However with their licence to sell beer, they now might qualify to permit smoking. We have not tried them since they got their license due to that risk.

Could someone tell me if it is non-smoking?

Their food was excellent -- Their smoke was intolerable. But it is their business and they can do what they want - We respect that.

I'm pretty sure it's non-smoking now. I hate smoke and I don't remember noticing any when I was there

Would never go there again, nor recommend it (even to someone I disliked).

Excellent ribs, chops and the pizza is excellent!! What is really nice is the smoke free and clean atmosphere. Cold beer is reasonably priced. A big plus for the city.

I ordered a Pork Pizza and guess what????? They gave me a hunk of freshly rolled dough with a Pig Head and entrails still hanging on it. Needless to say wasn't much pizza eating going on in my household. Gross f*cks. FACT!!!!!!

Isn't that difficult nowadays to find IP addresses. I'd be careful with the slander.... This certainly does not seem true.

How would they even fit a pig head in pizza box and entrails wouldn't be hanging on the head...maybe the spinal cord and throat thingies. What Pizza place would call a pizza a "Pork Pizza"? I think your story has some key flaws and discredit your statement. While you assert that this a fact, I question whether it truly is. I'd further argue that the story is proiverbial Bull sty. Take that one to the bank, pal. I know I can cash that assessment.

Agree wholeheartedly. Love the food, love the service, love the breakfasts, and the friendly waitresses. The previous comment was some moron with too much time on his hands.

A friend of my Uncle's step brother said that one needs to be careful when ordering the Horse Style Pie from Godfather's Pizza. The box is gigantic and the contents aren't very tasty. Word to your mother.

Tried chatting up a waitress in there a couple of months ago, but she politely informed me that she didn't date guys who get drunk before lunchtime. Also I was there with my wife and her folks, so I couldn't use some of my best lines as they are a bit raunchy.

I guess you live and you learn.

Avoid the legalities of the 'pizza war' where one person was not allowed to open a shop within a certain distance from another more original shop.
Local politics & nepotism at work again. The food is typical production line fare. Canned sauces & frozen pizza shells. Rather eat Digiorno.
Best real pizza by far is Tillie's. Homemade dough & sauce. Pity so many today have no taste buds & grew up thinking 'hot pockets' was dinner fare. Don't give me the Luciano's story either, nothing more than an overgrown pizza shop trying to pass themselves off as an Italian Rest. Pizza is OK, their sauce is too tart & the menu limited.

Tillie's is my all time favorite, and I don't know what I will do with myself if they ever decide to go out of business.

We should support the local businesses.

My wife & I decided on a whim, to try the Marina Pizzeria down at McKee's Point for breakfast this past Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised - very pleasantly surprised. Good food, one of the better breakfasts we have had, for a total of $10 or $11 I think. We went this evening for pizza.. Total bill was $10.64 including drinks. or those of you who have never been there. Neat place. One can sign the walls in there with a message, their names, their hometowns, etc... A lot of bicyclists and boaters have visited from out of town. People have signed from New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland to name a few. Service there can improve though. Both times we had to wait a while, and there weren't many customers there. Nicde atmosphere however.

We shouldn't knock things until we give it a try.

Would like to try the Marina Pizzeria, but it all depends on 'who' owns or controls it. I will not knowingly spend any of my money anywhere that is in place because of political favoritism or even related to them. I might be missing out , but I can't support what I have no use for. It must be the stubborn German blood.
