Thanks for providing us with information about the Commodore, Pennsylvania Associated Press article.

Why is McKeesport immune from justice? Watch for the bag money carriers of Porky. No more money, the paid off favor protection will dissipate.

I tend to disagree with you. His only salvation might be to be a cooperative witness. This may keep him out of the cage because they will throw him under the bus otherwise.
Recall in response to a question from Councilman McCall at a public meeting, the PWD admitted that he hand delivered monthly payment checks to a Clairton vendor because then Mayor Brewster ordered him to do such. The PWD is clean on this one, he can not risk insubordination. So he delivered as ordered.
The potential investigators may wish to get to bottom of this by trying to find out why the mayor distrusted the U.S. Mail Clairton service that worked very well for all other city vendors. What is your take on this "selected delivery?"
Councilman McCall has to be commended for exposing this mysterious pony express over the river and through the woods. We thank the councilman for his service and informational contribution in the interest of transparency and RESPECT for unnecessary delivery costs.
The Feds have done nothing visible to the public since the records were subpoenaed from the PWD Mr. Shermenti's public works department. The investigation appears very dead.

Not too long ago Mr. Shermenti was proclaiming publically that the "investigation was dead and nothing was found and he is not going to jail." Nick must have an insider feeding him information because the investigation is dead.

Then Mayor Cherepko and his puppet council reward Mr. Shermenti a $25,000 incentive to retire. This is to a individual who Mayor Cherepko knew early in the year that the Federal Grand Jury subpoenaed certain records from his department. It was further known that Mr. Shermenti was planning retire and did not need a $25,000 gift to help him decide.

From the side lines and this new public information, it appears that Mayor Cherepko cleverly orchestrated "HUSH MONEY" masqueraded as a retirement enticement. This would also ensure his puppet voting as MACM Chairman. The AG and PSP should look into this one as part of their gaming machine investigations..

This kind of back fired somewhat because other employees near retirement found out about it and they demanded the same gift which cost the city your tax money. This is vintage Mikey buying future votes again with you tax money.

The Final Score:

Nick $25,000 + Pension Taxpayers and Feds: ZERO

He wins - we the taxpayers lose!

Elash? Not the McKeesport city solicitor that owes the IRS over $100,000? Not the same McKeesport city solicitor that has recently plead guilty to DUI? Not the same McKeesport city solicitor that has been fired by several towns? Not the same McKeesport city solicitor that has been on Topix using city resources for personal and political gains? Anything missed?

Obtaining all the records from area scrap yards is the best way the FBI and AG can investigate. By now, they know McKeesport city hall doesn't cooperate with anyone. Same as Donaldson of Pittsburgh, he said nothing would happen to Nate Harper. Paul Donaldson promised everyone the FBI investigation wouldn't reveal any Pittsburgh slush fund. He lied and Bate Harper pled guilty yesterday to the charges. Nate Harper was the chief of police in Pittsburgh!

No one needs to argue with dummies in McKeesport for justice to take place. The proper indictments were handed out, and everyone is awaiting the justice system results. Baiting people to city meetings from any if you city hall idiots and retaliatory police officers is useless.
