This isn't about socioeconomic strife.
This is about a way of life that lacks pride, goodwill, empathy and anything resembling the civility we exhibited 2 generations ago.

I went to Hi-Vue Gardens to show my support for the victims unfortunately a hobo met me there and his motives didn't involve support just body searching with extreme prejudice.

Now fess up - I think you had a date with the hobo at the Gardens. You wanted to mask your hobo affections with a local unfortunate incident.

Anyone out there know about the victim? How many jobs was he working to make ends meet? Which pizza shop was he delivering for, to make extra cash? Was the Mrs and the children at home awaiting his arrival?

We hope his condition is improving and that he will recover fully.

All have suffered plenty.

God bless all and we pray for a full and complete recovery. And, we pray for his family and loved ones.

Allegheny County police Friday night arrested a McKeesport man accused in December of fatally shooting a man several times in the back.
County police obtained a warrant charging Dashawn Reid, 23, with criminal homicide Dec. 12 in the shooting of Jesse Thornton six days earlier. Thornton died of his wounds Dec. 11.
County police homicide unit Lt. Andrew Schurman said Mr. Reid was arrested without incident in Castle Shannon. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Sunday, according to online Allegheny County court records.
According to a criminal complaint, a witness heard Thornton arguing with a man named Kwame Reid in a hallway at the Hi-View Apartments complex on Sixth Street in McKeesport just before 11 p.m.
The argument escalated into a fight, according to the complaint, and an apartment door opened behind Thornton.
In the doorway stood Dashawn Reid with a black handgun, according to the complaint. The witness told investigators Mr. Reid was a familiar face -- they had known one another for 10 or 12 years.
Mr. Reid raised the gun and fired "multiple times" into Thornton's back, according to the complaint.
Both Reids went inside the apartment and closed the door, coming out a little while later and running off -- Dashawn Reid still holding the gun, according to the complaint.
Police found four spent 9 mm shell casings and two bullets in the hallway.
The witness picked Dashawn Reid out of a group of photos -- photo No. 8 -- according to the complaint.
