Is John Jason Elash eventually going to jail or no?
The court hearing will be in Pittsburgh. Court of Common Pleas, March 4, 2013 at 8:30am. Judge Barkowski
No jail time, but he might be suspended from practicing by the PA Lawyers Supreme Court Discipline Board.

Those charges require jail time, no way out. It's the law.

At worst, house arrest; Remember he is connected to his mentor just like he will be connected to the house arrest ankle bracelet.

The most severe punishment, which he truly deserves, could be a bolt of lighting justice from the PA Supreme's Court Lawyers Disciplinary Board. Ask the bankruptcy lawyer on Lincoln Way about their clout to enforce the Rules of Professional Conduct. The White Oak bankruptcy lawyer came out second best on this one.

And, the 2X DUI solicitor was administratively suspended once before by the Board which may have cost him the Elizabeth Twp solicitor position brokered by his mentor. This was rumored to be influenced by some pending state grants in the pipeline initiated by the former senator from Monroeville.

No jail time for the solicitor. Due to overcrowding, he'll wear a bracelet, attend AA classes, be fined heavily and pay to have a special ignition lock on his vehicle. Of course, he'll have his license suspended for a period of time before he can drive again.

As for PA Judicial Disciplinary Board, don't expect big sanctions against him. They mete out severe punishment when a lawyer makes mistakes/transgressions against a client. When a lawyer screws up in their own personal life it's a different matter altogether.

Elash lost his parking spot at Tiger Town. The McKeesport solicitor with 2 DUI counts goes to court March4. Can't fix a totaled SUV? Does that mean taxes are paying for the new vehicle from Steele City Auto?

I think the "war room" will moved to Versailles Avenue and the barrister will have a special reserved parking place if the second foot of the law does not fall soon on the gaming location. The new machines are well and working.

McPherson,

You been ranting pretending to be someone for a while now. Are you obsessed with this Glenn. Your not very stable by your post. No relative post to another over a public forum. Can you at least take your medicine McPherson?

How do you call houses tents? Your not very educated are you? Can you seek the mental help you need McPherson? You have a very childish, unhealthy obsession.

McKeesport Solicitor John Jason Elash Faces DUI Trial
By William Peacock, Esq. on

A local municipal official faces a criminal trial resulting from a January DUI, after waiving his preliminary hearing on Monday morning, reports the Pittsburg Post-Gazette. John Jason Elash is the Solicitor for McKeesport and has held similar positions with a number of towns over the course of his long legal career. A Solicitor is essentially a jack of all trades attorney for the city that researches and advises them on legal issues and regulations.
According to the Post-Gazette, Elash was leaving the inauguration party for Mayor Michael Cherepko when he crashed his SUV into a building in the 700 block of Route 48. After being taken to the hospital for a head injury, his blood alcohol content was allegedly measured at 0.196, which is more than twice the legal limit. He was also cited for speeding.
If he is convicted of a highest-level BAC (0.16 or higher) first time DUI offense, he faces some pretty severe penalties. The charge carries a minimum of 72 hours in jail, with a maximum of six months.
Because he was in an accident, he probably won't get the minimum penalty. There is also a fine of $1,000 to $5,000 and a 12 month license suspension, plus alcohol education classes and possible court ordered alcohol treatment.

FTL-11 000502 Over $42,000

That's a rumor? No way! Didn't he have a traffic citation in White Oak after the crash? If he doez, do you think the honorable judge knows about it?
