Gee, you must be a real hoot at parties (not).
People like you just like to crap all over people. You think your own butt don't stink.
From the outside your house probably looks normal---and inside its either a meth lab, weed farm or porn den. Maybe you are a closet nympho, or maybe you have 100 cats. Or you are just a lonely old bastard who no one visits anymore, and all your friends are dying off, so you occupy your time making life miserable for those who support your social security checks.
WTF cares about someone working on a car in their front yard or if someone has a vehicle in their driveway that isn't registered provided it isn't causing a safety problem?
Ever think that maybe everyone is not a retired lawyer who can afford to have others work on their BMW? It would be a cold day in hell that you would tell me not to work on my vehicle on my private property.
You want to live somewhere where there are strict covenants and a list of no-nos so you can "preserve" the neighborhood, you are free to move to one of those gated communities where everyone is a stick in the mud and royal inflamed blood vessel of the rectum.
McKeesport neighborhoods are a working person's neighborhoods. GET OVER IT.
As far as the loud music, front yard drama, etc......you must live in a bubble cause that stuff is EVERYWHERE. Anywhere you have a conglomeration of people you have this stuff. And that is why they have laws and ordinances on the books....to stop the worst offenders.....not nit pick every single blessed infraction.
If they arrested everyone for every rule on the books, there would be no taxpayers left but you and then you would be bitching about high taxes. In fact, there is likely a law on the books somewhere that might even get YOU busted.
Ordinances are meant to serve as a framework of rules to keep the peace, true. However, there are exceptions to everything and rules are regularly bent so as to not be a burden to people provided no one is getting hurt.
Too bad there isn't an ordinance forbidding busy bodies, because your type cause more trouble than they solve. Maybe your pal the lawyer lady can help us get an ordinance passed like THAT?
Your parents must have never told you that people hate busy bodies.
WOW! You're so excited you double-posted AND still came back for a third. Take a breath before you have a heart attack.
I NEVER said I agreed with all the ordinances. Got it? I just wrote that's what they are.
This busy body turned in two convicted murderers, a wife beater, and a petty burglar in my neighborhood.
Is your best response name-calling? How mature of you.
Yes, my mother is proud of me. If your mother read your posts, would she be proud of you?

A) I am not the only one here who has had browser issues as far as double posts. Going back through some threads, you have experienced this as well. So bite me if you think your butt doesn't stink.

B) You talk down to people and covertly name-call all the time here so its a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

C) There is a major difference between someone turning in legitimate criminals as you claim to have done (facts speak louder than claims) and people complaining about other people making a little noise or having an unregistered car in their driveway, which are the ordinances you specifically listed in your post, apparently advocating them. Repasted here-

McKeesport is a CITY, like it or not, an urban area. You can't:
1) start that lawnmower before 8:00 a.m.
2) work on your car, boat, adult toy in your front yard
3) have a non-functioning, unlicensed vehicle in your driveway
If the city doesn't see it, your neighbors will bring it to their attention. <snip> My neighbors don't complain about me because I'm the one who's reminding them about the ones I mentioned.
PARTICULARLY the line - "I'm the one reminding them about the (rules)"

If that is not what you intended, next time be more clear. If it IS what you advocate, then yes, you would be a busy body.

"If the city doesn't see it, your neighbors will bring it to their attention."

THANK GOD "Troublemaker" is there to remind us all of the rules! Without her, the neighborhood would be anarchy! LOL

Troublemaker is the PERFECT handle for clowns like yourself.....self-riteous do-gooders who nit pick everyone else rather than take care of their own house and mind their business.

Folks like you are the epitome of what is wrong with our country today! And (allegedly) turning in a few real criminals doesn't make up for the real DAMAGE your type cause......statistics say that even the biggest busybody will eventually get a couple right.

All you have to do is go to this website and see how many ordinances and laws are in place that make little to no sense.
The common thread? They were likely all brought about by some busy body do-gooder who feels others should modify their behavior for THEM.
http://www.stupidlaws.com/
Most people will look at an ordinance and use a modicum of common sense.
Others will cling tenaciously to the idiotic ordinance or law , usually because it benefits them directly.

Do you mean like the ordinances that use the force of law to make some pay municipal fees, city property tax, city earned income tax, parking citations, and city business tax except for the well connected few who work in city hall and are exempt because they contribute to the MDC or are friends of the mayor or senator?

I am interested in getting council to enact an ordinance against this sort of activity because I am ill and need my sleep. I know your were a major influence on getting the council to see your way and take care of a major nuisance and health threat (the ATV ordinance) and hoping you can take up the cause for yet another threat to Haler Heights peace and quiet. I saw many posts about you here on Topix, most of them not so nice.
It is SOOOO noisy! It took him a good 20 minutes to get done and finally it was over. But I was already awake by then.
Not mention the fumes and stink coming from that 2 cycle motor. Talk about air pollution!
Why can't this idiot use a shovel like everyone else?
Please help!

Bite you? What a screwy expression. Do you like to be bitten, because for most people it hurts. But of you insist, I can get a Rhodesian Ridgeback to bite you. They use them to hunt lions, you know.

I didn't realize it's your family at city hall. If you run for public office or are appointed to one, you have to expect it. And get over it.

They are facts, not claims. I don't need to prove anything to you. I didn't say I advocated the ordinances. I said that TWICE the first time you tried to read my mind.

So... if I find out the police are cruising around for expired plates - as they do from time to time - and my unemployed neighbor can't afford to renew his second car's plate and I give him a head's up, I'm a busy body? Right...

In closing, I'm not reminding everybody of the rules, and yet my neighborhood is not in anarchy. Because of that, I am not a self-righteous do-gooder who nit picks everyone else. I do take care of my house and mind my business.

Obviously you are entitled to your opinion, but I think what's wrong with our country today is people who think they are above the law.

There is a difference between people who get politcial favors and exceptions and poor ordinances to begin with.

The former can never be completely eradicated due to the nature of politics. A more systemic solution is needed to cure that.

The latter can be solved by not enacting inane ordinances to begin with.

Just peek at the publicly listed delinquencies on the Prothronotary’s web site for Elash, Carr, and McCall. They are all cohorts of Brewster and Cherepko and MDC supported. Enough said about selective non-enforcement of ordinances.

Another friend and at least one employee pay only a token amount on their business privilege obligations but get a pass because of contributions to the machine and Cherepko.

The City is replete with the internal corruption of cover-ups and the Mayor neglects to enforce tax ordinances. He is as guilty as the scofflaws for his cover-ups. How can Cherepko order the solicitor to use the force of law when the solicitor is the worst scofflaw employee perhaps in the history of the City?

I looked out there and did find the issues you mention on the site.

Problem is, the site is very sketchy about what is what and why.

First, several of each of the cases were "satisfied" (paid), some are not.

Now, as for the others -- could these be due to disputes in regards to the county tax reassessments perhaps and ongoing issues with that?

You are right to bring these to light IF they are not paying their taxes on purpose. But I know people who are listed on the site in other cities due to their ongoing proceedings in regards to disputes over the reassessments.

I wonder why no one has brought this to light publicly? Could be that there are legit reasons maybe? If not, you are right - this should not be.

But as long as it is only addressed on TOPIX, we will never know.

TOPIX is no place to bring about change....just a place to smear people.....if this is legit, it should be brought to light in a more adult way.......

The reassessments are effective for tax year 2013. Carr, Elash, and McCall are deliquent for several years before the reassessments.

Topix is a good place to expose the scofflaws because the Daily News would never print such. These are not smears -- only the truth!

How about their earned income and business taxes which are not public?

Yes, the data entry clerk for the Prothronoty's office is guily of slander and libel for doing his/her job and making public information public.

Yes, someone should sue them for releasing the truth.
