It saddens me to hear this women lost her troubled life but a life none the less .
What angers me is the number of mean spirited posts by individuals on this topic , as if the women
personally and grievously hurt said individuals or their family members .
Am I one of the few who think a little compassion
is called for ?

You are Welcome!!! It is such a good thing that dregs like this take their own lives so th rest of society can stop paying for them. The Police officer on duty deserves a commondation for discovering the body just in the nick of time. Dead but not stiff.

So you and I could both be arrested and held because of the Patriot Act....you would not mind being physically harmed while awaiting arraignment? Not everyone in jail is found guilty
:-) that being said drinking and driving is sooo illegal-everyone out for St. Paddy's please take cabs-God Bless!

Just waiting for all of the knucklehead police haters to start blaming the McK Police for this. Idiots will still be drumming up conspiracies in a year or so about this
Remember something.... If she wassn't arrested or drunk - she'd likely be alive today. Cause and effect. It's simple. Her actions resulted in her death.
52 yrs old still partying it up ?

quote"Seems some people don't appreciate the difference between JAIL and PRISON...

Typically, a PRISON is where someone who has been CONVICTED of a crime serves their sentence.

However, a JAIL usually temporarily houses those who have been CHARGED with a crime (but who still enjoy our system's "presumption of innocence") pending trial.*.

Consequently, those in JAIL should enjoy all of the rights enjoyed by those who are not being held pending trial (obviously excepting freedom to leave), while those in PRISON should be subject to having their rights curtailed.

*Sometimes those convicted of relatively minor crimes are held in a JAIL while they serve short (30 days, etc) sentences.

There is a hobo that frequents the jail. He often preaches about his right to body search. Goes by the name of Jim. Imagine he'll be gettin' some prison time soon enough if he keeps up this free to search attitude.
