McKeesport getting $335K new turf for football field while roads are faking apart!!!!!!!!!!
I know, best interest of the kids that do poorly in school according to state stats!!!!!!!!!!

It is the MASD school board and not McKeesport City Council responsible for maintenance of Tiger Stadium (some new name now).
The MASD has nine school board members. Two city policeman, one city employee, a staffer to a state legislator, two former union member teachers, one construction engineer type, and two well qualified professional females who are sincerely interested in education and students.
The McKeesport City budget is about $19M.
The MASD budget is about $60M.
Take your road complaint to the next McKeesport City council meeting let the spin doctors and deputy mayor not make your day.
To conclude, MASD board and administration have nothing to do with the condition of McKeesport roads.

Well indictments are pending. Might be an opening on the school board real soon. Not to mention maybe a job or two in Harrisburg. And don't forget school board to pay Mrs. D. $$$$$$$$$.... but you were told that a long time ago.

Will national news coverage on Fox News exposing the mess that AG Kathleen Kane created in dropping the slam dunk Phila. sting bribery charges against some elected officials force her to resign or to give the evidence to the FBI or DA?
What an alleged flagrant abuse of desecration or authority with everyone's eyes wide open including Fox News.
What was our beloved and "on her way to the governor's office" and our attractive AG thinking on this one? Wow! and more Wow!

Ms. D? How does the MASD attorneys, Cambest and Matta give a woman immunity by mistake? Does anyone care?
#479 Mar 28, 2014
Apparently the courts ruled that it was not a mistake. It was implied and intentional and then later retracted which failed in court.
I wonder if there is any possibility that the lawyers’ liability insurances might cover some of Ms. D settlements/
Who is legally responsible for these errors in judgment?
How much was the firm paid to represent MASD in all these legal cases and encounters?
#480 Mar 28, 2014
The firm of Dodaro, Cambest & Associates routinely do as they please with no particular concern for right or wrong. It's the Zappala Crime Family/Terrorist Group way.
They will never have to report for their actions. They have lifetime immunity from any type of prosecution. The Sicilian mob rules in PA. Get used to it.
Long live Synchronized Crime.

Yes, I know Mike!

More on the Zappala Crime Family/Terrorist Group.
When the mobsters entered Ellis Island there were many different spellings of a person's last name. In the case of the Zappalas, it could be spelled in a variety of ways: Zappala, Zappolla, Zappulla, Zottolla even Cippolla.
I don't know if these folks are blood relatives but I felt it was worth sharing.
The Zappola Crime Family was formed in the early-20’s by Sicilian-born immigrant, Alfredo Zappola. Although originating his criminal-activities from Philadelphia, Zappola orchestrated his organisation in such a way which saw him running operations in Pittsburgh, parts of New Jersey, Rhode Island, and even a small-stake in the Brooklyn borough of N.Y.C.
F.B.I FILE UPDATES
After Zappola's death a large varient of Bosses ran the Family, including John Zappola, Santino Salerno, Salvatore Faiacco, Anthony Navarra, and Frank Abiati. All Bosses seized control of the family through violence, up until Alfred Salerno's release from prison . He was suspected to of met with a very ill Abiati and discussed a takeover of the Family, which saw "The Cat" installed as the new Boss on peaceful terms.
Zappola concentrated his power into Union-control as well as controlling various bootlegging operations within the prohibition era. His organisation went onto control a large proportion of the Teamsters Locals in N.Y.C, as well as the I.L.A. His organisation soon became a fast-growing and dangerous Family, and he controlled operations right up until the late 1960's, where he then died of natural causes and sparked off a half-century battle for power within the family.

A great historical article.
Mike: What is your insight on where the Phila case dropped by AG Kane might go?
Do you speculate it might adversely impact the local 16 indicted persons and the rumored ongoing 37th Pa Grand Jury?
I noticed that Fox News head lined it last week. I am pleased the national news folks picked up on it.
#484 Mar 30, 2014
It's anybody's guess. It's simply too difficult to tell the good from the evil. Our politicians get in bed with each other and the first question each one asks is "Which one of us is the whore?
The AG has felt the pressure from someone and has backed off the case.
The local 16 I believe is still being debated. If there is a 37th grand jury it's still anyone's guess.
No matter what happens, I can walk away holding my head up high knowing that I did everything I could to expose scoundrels like Jim Brewster, Ralph Imbrogno, Lou Washowich, Pat Risha and the others in the Zappala Crime Family/Terrorist Group and of course all the dysfunctional sex freaks in the Roman Coward Church.

Pennsylvania AG Kathleen Kane (D) threatens to sue newspaper for committing… journalism.
By: Moe Lane (Diary)| March 21st, 2014 at 11:00 AM | 1
I was going to do a background paragraph on the story, but the first line of this article makes it redundant:“State Attorney General Kathleen Kane has hired one of the most feared litigators in the region, Richard A. Sprague, to represent her in possible defamation suits arising from accounts of her decision to end an undercover investigation that taped at least five Philadelphia Democrats accepting cash or gifts.” Basically, AG Kane shut down the sting operation after being elected in 2012: there is a big brouhaha over whether this was politically motivated. Well, actually, no: there is a big brouhaha over whether people can prove that shutting down the investigation was politically motivated. AG Kane is certainly acting like somebody who is nervous about a subpoena.
Yeah, I know: a heck of a thing to say about a state Attorney General. Mind you, as Hot Air points out, this escalated quickly from racism accusations to threatening lawsuits, which is the real reason why people are raising their eyebrows. The problem here is that apparently they’ve got hard evidence that people took bribes: relatively modest ones, but bribes nonetheless. That is not acceptable behavior for politicians. Neither is shutting down an investigation that has this kind of evidence. Kathleen Kane has a good deal to answer for, including precisely why she is trying so hard to shut down this story…

Former state Environmental Protection Secretary Katie McGinty said the controversy shows a need for "an absolute, no loopholes, no exceptions, no asterisks gift ban in public service."
McGinty, speaking with the other candidates at a Philadelphia forum on the May 20 primary election, used the controversy to raise an issue reported by the Daily News last year: Corbett and his wife reported $11,343 in gifts in 2010 and 2011 from lobbyists or business executives with state-regulated businesses.
Public officials in Pennsylvania may accept gifts as long as they are not given to influence their decisions. They must report gifts worth $250 or more, or gifts that add up to $650 or more in a year.
The more-strict Governor's Code of Conduct, instituted in 1980, bans gifts in the executive branch, led by Corbett, from people seeking state business or with business regulated by the state.
The four Democrats agreed with a renewed call by Common Cause Pennsylvania on Thursday for a state ban on gifts to public officials. The good-government group cited the case dropped by Kane when making that call.
The fifth candidate in the Democratic primary, former state Revenue Secretary Tom Wolf, did not attend yesterday's forum.

Not to be biased..........
Remember Bonusgate? Corbett has been widely criticized for ignoring alleged violations of the same laws by powerful members of the state Senate, whose support he needed for his run for governor.
In fact, several state senators were later prosecuted for the same offenses for which Corbett declined to prosecute. State Senator Jane Orie, a Republican, was recently convicted of using the resources of her public office for political ends. Sen. Orie was prosecuted not by Corbett, but by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office. Moreover, it’s a matter of public record that one of the witnesses used by the DA to convict Orie — a former intern in her office — had first contacted AG Corbett with her complaints, but was turned away.
As well, State Senator Bob Mellow of Lackawanna County was recently charged by federal prosecutors for these same offenses. The fact is, AG Corbett, who was running for governor, protected these state senators.
I just hope the voters take note of that.

I seem to recall that a fund raiser for Corbett was held at location of the former Duquesne Gulf Club and sponsored by the late and ready to be indicted Dr. Risha or a relative thereof.
The owner of a firm who received a suspicious contract to be the project manager for million of dollars of MASD construction work family contributed well over $10,000 to Corbett.
The owner said he had to contribute so that Corbett would return his phones calls. This was reported by the news media I recall.
