Other than the fact that he beat the worst rap the machine could throw at him and continues to be active and well liked in the community, you'd be right. I suspect he'll get back in the political game at some point, when it is right for him and his family.
If any elected officials are indicted and then convicted, I predict the MDC will appoint the Slugster to the forced vacancy. After what the machine and Mr. Brewster tried to on the Slugster, they dearly owe him one.

Mr. Brewster was publically calling for the Slugster's resignation from council, but is silent on his MDC endorsed and indicted councilperson. The Slugster beat the kangaroo court and the perpetuator of this frame up got egg on his face. The Slugster is like a elephant and does not forget.

Brewster has a bunch of his cronies in his pocket that he can throw in Carr's place. Personally Carr isn't going anywhere. Take my word for it..most of those indicted know their fate already, it just has to be official......

If Carr were to be bounced, as he should be, what makes you think a Cherepko/Gergely loyalist wouldn't be appointed? It's Gergely, not Brewster who is now running the School District and the City.

Maybe you should rethink your position on that, since you haven't a clue.

The embarrassed state representative may be running a minefield of risks of intercepted communications, a recently subpoenaed cooperative tavern owner, covert surveillance, tipsters, confidential witnesses, a subpoenaed indicted culprit, and a subpoenaed staffer.

I doubt if any of the risks are conviction threatening because IMO the local, state, county, and federal authorities are not the least bit interested in moving forward for unknown reasons on any of the 16 indicted.

IMO my theory is that this is just one big show for political purposes and a big waste of tax payers dollars. The Mob Valley culprits are and will continue to be untouchables due to their far reaching political influences. The $1 million confiscated is a lot of working cash.

Council Carr will not be bounced or convicted of anything. He will walk and laugh out loud at the fools who thought he got caught with both hands in the gaming device jar. He will live happy ever after with the unaudited books of the International Village and Palisades.

If seems like the indicted councilman's over $35,000 IRS lien means nothing.

Marc G will get elected AGAIN....I see he has an opponent running against him. Aint gonna happen, Marc is a shoe in, Even though he took care of Porky the voters sometimes don't see through the smoke screen . Illegal campaign money flowing into politicians hands are the norm. People never learn and Marc will serve as state rep for a long long time.

People cant add up 2+2. That's why IQ tests should be made every election cycle to weed out the mental illnesses.

Thank God we live in times were elected officials protect the Sicilian Mob. With this protection from Brewster, Gergely and so many others, the mob is able to continue its reign of terror. Some people scoff at video poker machines and sports betting as victimless crimes, but rest assured that these dollars are also used to finance child pornography, child trafficking and other crimes against innocent Americans.
Brewster and Gergely's families should be so proud of them.

OH PLEASE!
Watch the two movies Godfather and Godfather II. The real Mafia would never deal in drugs or child porn. They have full plates at all times without these things.

Don't bet on it indictments are coming soon. Wonder who the Democratic committee will put into the election once they are served.

The fix is in and I made it happen like the overtime and sex scandal leaks that I repaired with plumber's putty and some political Teflon tape.

No more leaks are all the water and sewage messes have evaporated into thin air. It is what it is -- that is a dry corruption hole.

No more indictments. The authorities lost interest for unknown reasons.

Those indicted will walk and there could be a Porkster monument in the City park in the near future.

Eddie said they are innocent already. You know he can declare innocence of city officials simply by knowing them. Eddie has spoken, and he declared the driver who hit the girl innocent even though he wasn't there. Eddie is law in McKeesport, learn it from his MDC friends.

Eddie declared as fact the driver who hit the girl was innocent. Eddie is law in McKeesport, depending in he he is friends with. If they run McKeesport, even with indictment he can declare innocence from Haler Heights. He don't have to be on scene as a first hand witness to say one way or another. Eddie is law and a McKeesport legend in his own mind. Most of the officials for McKeesport live in Haler Heights.

The dump truck was probably the one that killed a man on Haler Heights. Probably a Haler Heights owned dump truck, or friend to the MDC. If Eddie claims he's innocent, the driver was connected with McKeesport.

To the best of my knowledge only the late Emergency Management Coordinator and the new over paid CD Director's father live in Haler Heights.

I realize my knowledge of Haler Heights is very limited because I live in the affluent upper 10th ward. May be you can expand on my very limited knowledge based on your allegations they could have significant merit. Thank you for this public service.

I agree with your insight and analysis. The repeated continuances of the non-jury trials are an omen of freedom on the horizon for all 16 indicted.

The authorities do not seem very aggressive in pursuing the rule of law for the well connected 16 indicted. What about all the cash confiscated? Will they return it to the Porkster to buy another municipality?

Over $1,000,000 in cash seized and the IRS and Feds are totally silent or disinterested up to now. This is incomprehensible. I made a $8.00 mistake on my recent taxes and the IRS invoiced me accordingly. The well connected have a $1,000,000 of unreported income and there is no public evidence that the IRS is interested or concerned.
