I get the justs of all of this, and what's wrong is wrong etc..... At this point, not sure of all of the logistics of this situation, how deep it goes and don't know what all was transpiring etc..... A lot seems surrounded around illegal gambling. Likely around poker machines in bars paying out, maybe even baseball pools etc... Who knows?

How about we now go after jitney drivers. They do not pay taxes either, and it seems as if a lot of crimes occur with these illegal idiots. How about now going after the welfare cheats too please.

You violated the most sacred rule of the Port. You are not to think, speak or hear anything negative about the Port.

I suggest we start at City Hall. There a few well compensated employees who do not pay earned income or business income taxes.

One owes the IRS a bundle. These scofflaws are much easier to track down than the jitney drivers and owe a lots more.

I'm with you, as no one is above the law. But what I am saying is there is a lot of folks sponging off of the syetem, including these jitney drivers. They do not pay taxes, they are not licensed and they are stiffing the legitimate cabbies out there. Welfare cheats need to be held accountable as well. These people lie/cheat their way through life on your dime and mine. I would absolutely love for the government to start cracking down on them tolo.

Back to the original story. These officers need to obey the law and set a better example. Something else to think about here. What about the office football pools? What about Fantasy Football? How aboiut the football block things, where you throw your name/initials in a square, and you have a shot at winning at halftime, the end of the 4th qtr etc??? All of these things are gambling too. We ALL partake in that right?

Councilman Carr said he was blinded sided! Hey Dan they raided your establishment three times. You were subpoenaed to testify at the State Grand Jury and you know that they were investigating Porky. Many others machine operator were subpoenaed and many received letter advising that their phone conversation dates and times were monitored.

And, you have the audacity to proclaim you were blind sided. Why did include false statements in your list wrong doing?

You should resign from council immediately and quit embarrassing yourself, your family, the City, the Mayor, the MDC, and Lions Club.

McKeesport Mayor Mike Cherepko said in a statement he was "deeply saddened with the revelations that former city employees and a current business owner, who also serves as a part-time city councilman, are apparently involved in this matter, but I have the utmost confidence in our judicial system and the investigating agencies involved."

Mr. Cherepko said his administration has cooperated with inquiries and requests for information following the Dec. 11 raids.

"I must, however, make it very clear that no one has provided me with any information that would indicate the City of McKeesport has any involvement in this matter whatsoever," Mr. Cherepko said.

Did you have qualified lookouts to make sure the feds weren't keeping an eye on city hall? Oh wait a minute, that's the Cornell Sex Scandal that had watchers making sure teachers could have sex in the classroom without being caught or disturbed until they were completely satisfied, each partner shared a cigarette and done.

Mayor Cherepko: I hope your statement of no knowledge of involvement holds up after the last indictment is issued.

I will hold my opinion and hope your device licensing count corresponds exactly with the number of machines confiscated in the City.

Does the public and politically astute realize that the mayor has cleverly and effectively eliminated two potential competitors for the future mayoral seat. Say good bye to Benedict AJ and indicted Carr.

The only obstacle is the mayor's daughter.

Watch your back Mike the senator will slip his spouse into the soon to be vacated seat of the indicted Dan Carr. Soles will lead the movement because his spouse and the senator's spouse socialize frequently.

Mark Holtzman currently is the chief of police in Forward Township, Allegheny County. He did not hold that position at the time of the events described in the press release, Kane said.

So he was a thief prior to him getting the job as chief in Jan of 2013 ? He's free to go!! LMAO!
