Too bad , he had his escape out of here & threw it away. Hittin on hard times & believing what he 'WAS' somehow means something . Just another ex hot-shot athlete that still believes he's special. These guys used to turn into winos - today they turn in crack-heads. I really do wish he could have been somebody - guess he wasn't man enough to leave the ghetto mentality behind. does he really have a Super Bowl ring ? I'd like to buy it before he trades it off for a bag of crack or H .

Russell is an awesome person and a wonderful dad. He got caught up in a situation involving his son and it escalated. He was wrong. He's sorry. I'm not a family member. I'm just a parent from the Boys and Girls Club and I've seen the kind of father he is. Instead of talking crap on him how about praying for him and his family.

We all make mistakes and we all deserve 2nd chances. I am glad to hear that he is there for his son. McKeesport needs more fathers taking a serious interest in their kids.
