I believe your right . Seems like they had a daughter. Did you know Conleys boys. I live in alabama now but every chance I get I try to go through jackson county. Our folks are buried aty gray hawk.
Sure I knew Conley's whole family very well. They are my first cousins. Most of his children moved to Connersville Ind. years ago except for Helen and Ona. Stanley lived up there to, but he moved back several years ago. As far as I know Tony, Jack , and Nita still live up there. Janette passed away a few years ago. I'm not sure where Harold ever got to. Homer is over around Richmond. I'm not sure about Oda Faye, but all the rest of Conleys' brothers and sisters are deceased.

Do you remember the two cartoon characters on the sign that hung outside. I think one was bugs-bunny, and I'm not sure about the other one, but it kinda looked like Mr. Magoo. >>>>>>> >>>>
Musta been Elmer Fudd. There was a man named McQueen as I recall who was the mgr. Helen was a very good waitress. The bad thing for McKee is being so far from a main route. I stayed in a small hotel there one summer on a road project. Many nice people there. They had a shindig dance at some park near the Jackson Co. Recc or something. That was over 4o years ago. I believe the project I worked on was the road to Booneville because we used to eat a very small restaurant in Travelers Rest and at Fudd's. I worked with a couple of traveling crew who used each others names to pick up girls as they both were married. One gave my name to Helen and she said " I know him and he's not you". She probably made a good wife to some lucky fellow.

Yes sir, Elmer Fudd is right."What's up Doc?Fudd burger". Yes sir Helen is a good person. She is married to Hershel Lynch now, and they live on High School road not to far from Gray Hawk. Just in case you don't know, Hershel was Sheriff in Jackson County for many years. A very good hard working man.

Jack is my dad. He and Tony do still live in C' ville. Nita married a fine man from Ohio many years ago and they live there. As for Janette's passing it was a sad time but we know where she is. Its a long story but she told me that she prayed and told the Lord that if it took cancer to get her to surrender then she wanted cancer. I have never heard of anyone praying like that before but she did. Well to make a long story short a few weeks later she took sick and told her family it was cancer before the doctor did. She got saved and filled with the holy ghost in the hospital and told folks not to pray for healing! She didn't live long after that but the last time I talked to her she asked me what I thought heaven would be like and that she would be waiting on me! GLORY!!! You couldn't give me a million dollars for that conversation.

I'm reading a Romantic History of Owsley Co, by Joyce Wilson. There was a Capt. Sylvester Isaacs who served in the Civil War in the early 1860's also two pictures of him. Says he weighed 300 ponds and his wife Patsy weighed 80 pounds but bore 8 children for him. Because of his weight he rode a horse to see his crops. His outfit was the Union Ky 7th Regt. which had companies from the different counties around Clay, Owsley and Jackson. I'd guess many of your Isaacs are related to him. BTW if you are intrigued by this call on Old Jess D wilson who lives twixt Burning Springs and McKee.

Hello to all! This is a very intersting topic that you folks are expanding on...Let's see if we can clear it up for Miss Wondering. I believe that I can do that since I am her biological father. The reason she doesn't know any of our family is she never took the time. Enough said. For the rest of the family that have been posting on this site, I have great news!!!! My cousin, fiance, and I are putting together a family reunion. The reunion will be held on Sept. 7th, 2009 at Sand Gap park in, of course, Sand Gap, Kentucky. This reunion is open to all Isaacs/Farmer family & friends. It will start at 1:00 PM. Please bring a dish and your own drinks. You can email us at [email protected] m. Let's meet again, all over!

My name is not Steve I dont have a clue what you are talking about nor do I care. To like to no - peggy doesn't have a sister named teresa. She has a sister named Melissa who is 33 and she has a half sister named wanda who is probably 43 or 44. Peggy is 37 years old and has 2 boys. Their dad's name is austin. He passed away though.
