I would strongly look into the Fort Myers Villas. It is a really safe neighborhood and there probably no less than 40 restaurants you can go to without ever having to drive down US41. It is also a quiet neighborhood and very little traffic depending on what street you live on. Most of the streets are divided into say 3 Chandler Aves which don't connect with one another. There are some real bargains to be had. A house recently sold for $27,100 but is now appraised $111,000. Another house sold for $45,000 and is appraised at 120 plus k. These are 3 bed 2 Ba with 2 car garages. Hope this helps. I have lived in this neighborhood for 30 plus years just to let you know. Hope this helps you.

The Villa's is a high crime area.
You want to stay away from Pine Manor, Page Park, the Villa's, Suncoast (NFM in general)
Look more towards Bonita or Cape Coral, Alva is good we have a great Satanic church

The Villas has police officers that live here too. There are no gangs like Bonita
Cape Coral. It is a mix of older people, families and responsible people. Not one murder has happened here unlike Cape Coral and Bonita neighborhoods

I dont know much about Fort Myers but I do know that Cape Coral and Pine Island which is south of Fort Myers are 2 nice locations, I will tell you this in Cape Coral you are not allowed boats, campers and any big non driveable items in your driveway.

I know that for a fact. It took decades to
allow pickup trucks to be allowed to park in the driveway. However one guy came up with brilliant idea to park surplus army tank in the driveway and another guy arranged to park his old decrepit airplane. Not long after that Cape Coral did away with pickup truck ordinance.
