Why should this be a fight.
Most all of the people in New York were afffected or will be affected by the fall out of 911.Not just the first responders but everyone person in the area of the fallout. The air wasn't breathable for weeks maybe months after the attack. Why do we have to beg for things that should be a given?
What the hell is wrong with our government?

I am extremely glad that someone has stood up to the base. It is time that we show our countrymen that we are all family in this country. If we all attempt to feel that way in our heart, our government will reflect our patriotism by taking care of home first.

But Guiliani and his wife said the air was fine. They would not lie.

If you guys thought the air was safe you are in need of serious mental evaluation.

Blaming the government only indicates an inability to come to terms with your own lack of common sense. My 10 year old daughter could have told you the air wasn't going to be healthy.

Now that you have seen how a bureaucracy works, or doesn't work... just wait until they control your health care.
