Bo was a good guy - he must have snapped. It doesn't justify what he did but goes to show that Dermott needs some guidance from the man upstairs. Ironic that Amber's boyfriend/husband was the one that killed Yolanda the local florist while on drugs. It seems the best people get soiled by becoming a product of their environment. I could never see myself moving back to Dermott at it's current state. Prayers go out to all the families and community.

I am also orginally from Dermott and I cannot see myself moving back either. I also knew Bo and also grew up with Anna as well as the sisters of Amber. My heart goes out to Anna and the family of Amber. As far as Amber's boyfriend or whatever killing the florist while that is horrible and that woman did not deserve that to be done to her, it has nothing to do with Amber being murdered. Dermott has been in need of help for a very long time. I have not lived there in 17 years and my family moved due to the trouble that had begun then. Let us not forget that three people were murdered, maybe now Dermott officials will wake up and realize that they need to do something to make it safe for their residents that still reside there. All my prayers Anna. Also to Mrs. Elva, Carla, Stephanie and Shelly and to the smallest victim Amber's little girl. You are in my heart and thoughts.

You are are absolutely right that it had nothing to do with Amber, I was just trying to stress the need for help and how everything seems to be rolling together and affecting every single being in our home town. I remember when we could leave our doors unlocked and now it is just as bad as Little Rock and Houston (if not worse considering the size of the town) It is just a tragedy and everyone needs to pull together and support one another during this difficult time. Again - I was not taking light of there being murders and want to stress that Amber was not responsible for the action of the monster that killed Yolanda.

amber had nothing to do with what happened to yolanda jones... she was a very good person who trusted someone she shouldn't have... a product of their environment? my 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter had nothing to do with Dermott and it's decline... there are still decent, hard-working people here just trying to get by. Dermott is my home and always will be. the person at faut is the person who committed the crime

dermott is the problem... i called 911 on the morning of may12 and there was no ambulance in town... the police could not find the address and my children died as a result ofinadequate police and 911 response. it took over 15 minutes for the ambulance to arrive and we lived only 4 to 5 blocks away from the ambulance service... what is really going on????

Bo was a very special person that i crossed paths with in alabama i learned from Bo that he had a very big heart and had so much love in his heart for his children that i know what Bo did was not right but i also know that had he had the lord in his heart this would have never happen, my heart goes out to the hurting families that were involved but just remember god would have us to forgive, and through the forgiveness god will heal your hurting heart.
put all your trust in the lord and he will see you through.
