I live 3 house down from this lady. I would of thought that the morning she was found that the police would of came around and informed us of what had happened and asked us questions.. instead im standing on my front porch thinking her dogs were being impounded.. come to find out all i hear are horrible things and possible suspects.. NOTHING at ALL from the police.. this is all hearsay so what to believe? several ppl i know have called the PD letting them know what unusual things they have noticed mayb they have someone in mind but is it the right someone..I pray to god that they (the PD) are putting all they have into finding the person who would such a horrible thing.. All the elders around are trying to find peace and comfort especially the women i hope Jim White is losing sleep over this maybe the things that have been going here lately will wake up some of these guys we look to for safety, what else needs to happen..

I am amazed what little news there is about this horrific crime. What is really sad is that I have severe doubts that the McGheee P.D. will ever catch this person. It starts at the top with bad leadership. You would think that the police would have been asking neighbors if they saw or new anything. It is my understanding (hear say at this point) that the lady had been attacked before, maybe by the same person. The police thought she was crazy and made no attempt to follow through. Sorry to tell you Concerned Neighbor, I doubt Jim White is losing sleep over this.

This lady has been a customer of mine for a while now. This is not the first time she has been attacked. Nobody did anything about it. When I asked a member of the police force if they knew anything else, he laughed and said she was just a "crazy old lady" She has come into my place of work telling us how scared she was after the first attack. She was denied an apartment at the complex across from Cash's and forced to remain living in the home where she was first attacked.

This is a true story and not hearsay and what happened to her is unspeakable, I have a cousin that knows the lady that was attacked and yes this was the second time she was attacked. Please be safe and look out for each other, may God look over you and I hope they find this man and he should have done to him what he did to her. It was horrible. The police need to do a real investigation and find this monster.

I was glad to read the above comments. Because I have hoped to read or hear about some headway in the investigation. It is hard to believe that the McGehee Police Chief wouldn't see the harm this will do to McGehee,(I've already heard one class-mate say, "I'm glad I got out when I did.") Looks like the mayor would step in and see that MPD did their job. This lady is just as important as any other citizen of McGehee, and her attacker should be found and prosecuted!
