However, we do have a corporate office that handles all complaints and concerns pertaining to the company. I doubt very seriously that you did not receive your last paycheck. If you would please contact our corporate office listed the yellow pages to further discuss this issue. Mrs. White and Ms Brown are available handle any concerns that you may have pertaining to the company and your last pay check. Sincerely, Ms. Brown

Sorry Daycares
|
I have yet to find a good daycare besides Kids R Kids on the northside of town. I'm thinking that the people running these places are all about the $ and don't think of the best interests of the children. Anyone know any good daycares in McDonough? Obviously this one you are speaking of sucks and so does Town Square Academy.

Sunshine House
|
The Sunshine House in Eagles Landing is a great daycare/preschool. It is harder to get into the pre-school program, but they have a curriculum starting at the age of 1. They don't just sit kids in front of televisions, they have daily activities mapped out in advance directed towards the specific age and skill development. I would highly reccommend this facility. It is clean, the employees are wonderful and the director Sharon is on top of things and runs the school with a passion that is evident that she cares. My 2 year old has been there for 1 1/2 year and I don't plan on leaving. Stephanie Upchurch

Previous Intern

I would NOT recommend this facility for the care of your children. On the first day of my internship, I was placed in the Pre-K classroom - by myself - for the whole day. I communicated with the Victoria that I was not allowed to be with the children unsupervised because I was an intern and it was apart of our rules. Furthermore, the THEN director was the one to place me in the classroom. She did not know my name or what I was there for. That shows lack of communication within the heads of the facility. One of the employees told me that the children had received molded bread and instead of replace all of the children's bread, they only replaced that one child's food. Another employee told me that she was NOT told her pay and she was there 4 days.
Again, I would not recommend this facility. However, I would recommend Jodeco Academy, Cornerstone Academy and Kiddie Academy. From what I have seen and heard about these schools, they care take wonderful care of their employees and the children attending.

Mother of 2
|
I am a mother of two and I researched all of the daycares in this area for over a month before I went back to work. I am completely satisfied with the care my children receive at this facility. I cannot comment on the previous administration but the current administration is proactive and has the care of the children in their best interest. The environment is warm, friendly, very inviting, and colorful. I would recommend this facility to anyone searching for a great daycare. BUT I recommend that parents do their own research. Go to the daycare, take a tour of the facility, meet the director/ asst director, and teachers. Most importantly, drop by the facility periodically to see how things are really done. Make an informed decision so you feel comfortable leaving your child there. I did, and I'm very happy with my decision.

Don't you have to have licensing for Pre-K teaching. I don't see Sharon ever letting that happen.

The 4 Ever Learning Academy in McDonough is not one of the better daycares in the area. The turn over in staff is constant. The children are not given proper portions and seldom have enought to eat. (spoiled milk) Because ot the turn over rate the teachers tend not to get the proper training. The owner is a maniac and works based on her needs and not those of the school she has been arrested several times for fraud, and hitting children. They lost a child at the Aquirium and did not tell the parent. The staff from Nov to June could not cash their checks. No one knows who really owns the company. Ms. Brown will say and so anything Ms. White ask whether right or wrong. I removed my children from the center and would not recommend it to look after puppies. You can verify these facts at the Bright from the start Web site and Dekalb online arrest sheets.

Actual Parent
|
I was a parent of children at the center and I find it hard to believe that the previous message was from an actual parent. If this was the case why did so many parents pull their children out. I removed my child there in mid-July after the administration change. I was feed up with the constant turn around in teachers and administrators and when I found out that the new Director has NO daycare experience-I was feed up. Then this Ms. Brown and Ms. White would not refund my monies after I paid in advance and wanted to pull my children out I had to take action. I know that the previous Director use to buy food out of her own pocket and had years of experience and they let her go and replaced her with someone who doesn't know how to change a diaper is not acceptable. If you want to know the truth about this center do a background check on the history and talk to teachers and ask them how long have they been there. I am positive that there is not 4 teachers who have been there for over a year.

Very personable and greet you by name. My son went there several years ago and I loved that nursery.

I worked there and personally would not even bring my own child there. The food they get is only little portions and is so nasty i wouldnt even feed my dog stuff like that. The rarely have milk for them to drink and never juice for snack just water if they have cups. All the pays checks i got were bad checks and i heard i wasnt the only one that happened to. Do not get me wrong the people who work there do love the children but its just not a good place to bring your child to. They are broke...
