it seems like he and the counseler dont handle the bully problem to well. but since its all a game of numbers they are just trying to make the school look better on paper by not documenting cases that involve certain student they choose not to punish.

At a school of 1,400 students,I had two meetings with the principal.Once he realized I meant what i was saying, there were no more problems. If you butt heads, nothing is accomplished.

My children are all the victims of the bulling and I being their mother cant seem to get the school to do a damn thing about it. They always want to believe the rich/popular kids and not the kids that are the victims, but if you watch te news its 9 out of 10 times the richs kids that are on there for crimes that you just dont want to beleive a child from the right side of the tracks would do. Must we involve channel 7 on our side into the worlde call Augusta School? Because wether or not the administrators beleives it or not my children are SOMEBODY and they will be treated like it....They need to either inforce the BULLING ACT or please get someone in there that will.....

I agree! The rich kids and the kids who play sports can do as they wish. I go up to the school to try to find out if they are going to do anything about it and NO!! My child will be singled out again and now be punished after being bullied. GREAT!! The teachers are just as bad as the students. It's gotten so bad that now my children hate school, don't want me to try to help anymore because it only causes more problems on them. So now I feel more helpless!! Something needs to be done. If you go to the school to say anything you're a bother to the people in the office but if you don't try to help your kids you're a dead beat.. damned if ya do and damned if ya don't!!

You are just a bad sport and your kids are probably spoiled. Quit babying them and running to school every day and teach your kids to ignore and not acknowledge bullies. Most bullies are low self esteem people who don't have anyone to teach them. How about inviting the bully to your home to show them love and kindness. Play it forward.
And "rich" kids in McCrory - who in the heck is "rich" in McCrory? And define "rich"....

to some folks, rich people are those who work to have a good life, refuse to participate in pity parties, would never even consider an entitlement program, etc.

in mccrory and every other small town usa there are the haves and the have nots. if you deny this you are obviously in the former category. us have nots are aware of the problem because the system leans slighty in favor of the haves.

You can turn a "have not" around. And define "have not". I know many people who you think "have" that are hocked to the heavens, while may we think "have not" have a good solid bank acct due to their frugalness.
Stop judging and participate in a positive way.
As people we are fully capable of changing our lives however we want to. Sometimes we really don't want to step out on that ledge to change.
Merry Christmas and Peace.

well when u have a teacher that just pushes a child to the point the kid finally loses it and threathens to beat their ass just so they will send this kid off is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT but I know its always the teachers word over the student. Hell it aint even a racial thing whites against blacks its the teachers and the rich over the poor disadvantaged. And may I remind u money cant buy u everything just look at Mr. Ray Coleman

It happens in every town. My kids experienced in central AR, know other kids in other parts of the state who have had the same issues.
I do not know Mr. Daniels from the school, but he has always been polite and friendly. A gentleman, which in this redneck area, that is often mistaken as weak. But regardless, I think the parents of the so called "rich" kids, or any bully should be held responsible and if their child gets caught bullying they Must come with the student to a class...after interfering with the parents schedule, things would change.
