Who/Where is McComb's Historical Society?

Our historic homes are being allowed to rot down! We need some incentives to get people to buy these properties. The historical neighborhoods and occupied houses have no boundaries enforced by the Historical Society. Why do they allow metal buildings to be built in the yard (Lakeshore Drive) or cheap Croft metal windows to replace original windows (Georgia Ave among others)? Why would someone be allowed to paint their house purple and lavender in a historic neighborhood (2nd st). It breaks my heart to see that old Victorian house on 3rd st...
We need a solution. Take a ride around Magnolia and look at what they've done. They have pride in their history, and it shows.
