she should have listened to her parents. i'm sick and tired of these dumb-ass naive idiots who go over there and get themselves killed. bush is not worth it. we need to get our sorry asses out of iraq. we have a lot better things to do then spend billions of dollars on people who hate us.

First of all, THAT IS MY COUSIN YOU ARE SPEAKING OF, and I do not appreciate you speaking of her like you no her, calling her a "dumb-ass naive idiot."  Or speaking of anyone in that case who has Served our country.  She is coming home to us Tomorrow, Thursday, May 8 2008.  And it pisses me off that she lost her life, for a "DUMB-ASS" like you.  I am so proud of her and so thankful for everything that she has done for me and our Great Nation.  I also am thankful for every man and women who lost their life Protecting Dumb-Asses like yourself.  I hope your happy and you sleep well when you are able to wake up knowing those so called "dumb-asses" you speak of, die just so you CAN live your life posting these rude remarks..

You make me ashamed to be from Hattiesburg. Regardless of your political stance, your under or overeducated opinion, your arrogance, and your ignorance....Casey was something to someone. Are you so insecure and bitter because you know if you die tomorrow your life will not be worth mentioning or debating? I never met Casey, but I have met her dad who went to high school with my husband... Maybe Casey is dead because she did listen to her parents.... people who understand honor to God, Country, and Family

Some people in our nation do not realize that the freedoms they take for granted every day are in place because of people like Casey Casanova and Josh Wells. Some people do not stop to think about the great sacrifices others have made in the past in order for us to live in the country we live in today. Some people do not see America as being the blessing it is, they do not see the trials and hardships other countries go through, and they do not understand what it means to protect what we believe in. That is what Casey was doing. She is a heroine of our country, and even though I did not know Casey, I am proud of her. I weep for her family and many friends. I am not shocked that some people do not see Casey as the heroine she is, but its saddens me that they have trouble understanding the importance of our military and all those who serve. Our country may have it's flaws, but I am proud to be a part of it, and I am proud of our Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines.

Do not let the cruelty or ignorance of others blind us with hateful words and feelings. One day they may understand.

I went to boot camp with Casey. Plt 4013 was the true defenition of a sisterhood. We fought with eachother, we cried together, we laughed together, we supported eachother. We were surprisingly close for a female platoon.

Casey was part of a small group of us who would go to church every Sunday. We were pretty close and loved to sit, sing, and pray together.

We have yet to complete our mission over there, and the Marines are determined to finish the job. Casey would have wanted the same. She did her job duitifully and thought it cost her life, I'm sure she was more then willing to give it to protect this great countries freedoms.

Say what you wish of her, good or bad, but her loud and proud Papa Sisters will always and forever remember and support her.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to Casey and her family, friends, and fellow Marines. I am a female AF veteran from back in the dark ages when women weren't allowed in combat. I remember many times having debates over that. I am so proud of my "sisters" stepping up and defending our country. If I could I'd hug each and everyone of you I would. This country owes ALL our service members and their families a debt that we can never repay. I for one will always honor each and every one of you in my heart always.
Rest in peace LCpl Casanova, your job is done. Blue skies

I want you all to know Casey was one of the best things to ever happen to me. I went to high school with Casey. We walked down to same isle to get our diplomas together and I wouldn't have it any other way. I support Casey’s cause and all the troops out their. SHE MAY BE GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN! If you don't appreciate what our country men and women are doing for us you can kiss it! Semper Fi

you talk as if you know every answer. war has existed since the beginning of time. it has nothing to do with who is fighting or who our president is at that time. casey is someone you should be respectful towards bc she fought for YOUR freedom. your 'stupid ass latte' or 'stupid ass gas' you use EVERY DAY!! that is my step sister and i cannot believe that you even had the nerve or balls to post something about someone who has died for our country. i believe you are either young or just not educated. i praise and honor all military personnel for being able to step up and be leaders. i will pray that one day you realize the sacrifices these men and women make for us. god bless and good luck with your education.
