Is that really hunting? To put an animal in unknown surroundings, fence it in and shoot it.

Hunting behind fence is no different than anyother form of hunting other than the fact the deer are wayy bigger than any you will find in the wild.. the way i have heard double d ranch does it is not actually the way most places do it. Places like that give other hunting preserves a bad rep.

unknown11 if you think hunting in a fence is no difference than hunting in the wild then why would you pay to hunt? makes no sense, sure ill give ten grand to go kill a 160 class buck that will prolly eat corn out of your hand!! you must be some sort of city slicker or somethin. if ya want to hunt then park your ass in a tree stand without a fence around it:) thanks and good day

Im no city slicker just to inform you, and no they deer behind fence do not eat corn out of your hand.. obviously you are just jealous of the people who own them because they get to do what they love and have fun and actually enjoy there job.. obviously you have never been to a deer preserve.. and to inform you its not $10,000 for a 160 class buck. and i have parked my ass in a tree stand wihtout a fence around and didnt see any buck big enough to even shoot. and i told you the difference is the class of the buck you just dont have the money to spend.

I completly agree....hunting an animal trapped in a fence is NOT hunting.....and if u parked ur ass in a treestand and didnt see anything to shoot then you were in the wrong place....put the time in and scout the land....the are plenty of deer that are free range that are just as big as the ones finced in! Be a real hunter and to will see it is much more fun and a hell of alot cheaper

If there are deer just as big in the wild then I want to know how many deer you know of that have been killed in the wild that score from 350-417 inches. Just another question, do you use any scents or urines, and if so where do you think they come from? because most bow hunters i know use code blue or buck in rut? Fence just assures me that i am shooting a deer that is a mature buck. 85% of the deer killed in w.v. is only a year old.
