BrightStar video should be ran out of town, All they do is fuel all the drug addicts in vinton county by buying the stuff they steal.. way to enable. and 90% of the items in the store are broken, so when hard working people save there money to buy somthing in that store its trash, and forget about asking before hand if anything is wrong with the item... they flat out lie... i have Video of broken x-boxes'tv's phones'etc.... and also they rent out and sell burnt movies, thats jail time. So forget about buying anything in that store just light your money on fire, its the same thing.
I'll have more to this story
stay tuned.
thanks

I bought my son a 3ds and 4 games from them and my mom a phone, so they made a good bit of money off of me. The 3ds freezes and I had to buy a new charger because the one she gave me doesn't even fit the XD, only 1 out of 4 games actually work, and the phone completely quit working after 3 weeks. When I went in and told the woman, thinking since I spent so much money she would atleast try and make things right by taking back the things and refunding my money or replacing them. Well, neither one of those things happened. Needless to say that place is a joke and they will never receive another dime of mine, or my friends/familys money!!

U buy used stuff u shouldn't b surprised when crap happens. I wouldnt buy something from a pawn shop and expect to get a refund THREE weeks later when it breaks.
Some people amaze me.

Yeah I've heard that they have done that to quite a few people. When you buy somthing from ANYWHERE no matter HOW MUCH YOU PAY, it should work the way its supposed to. Instead of lying to the customers face and saying "it works great, its such a good deal" KNOWING DAM WELL IT DOESN'T WORK! Then when you get home and use it, its a piece of CRAP. Any business, pawn shop or not should not lie to their cutomers, who are spending hard earned money on their stuff, bringing them business! WTF KIND OF BUSINESS IS THAT? PATHETIC!

I work here at Bright Star and all I can say is some of these comments are very untrue and very unfair. First of all when you buy something pre-owned you are always taking a risk as to how long they will last. We test every item we buy and the customer has the option of testing before its bought. We cannot offer warranties as we buy the items pre-owned without warranties. If a problem arises within 24-48 hours we have ALWAYS worked with the customer to exchange for something else. All of our DVD's are factory, NONE are burnt copies. We have NEVER rented or sold burnt DVD's. We guarantee all video games and they can be traded or cleaned if they don't work (if you bring them back within 48 hours which we tell everyone). We have new and used items and it is posted plainly that we do not offer refunds for pre-owned items. If you want a guarantee then buy the one thats new. We ask everyone what they are willing to sell an item for. If you ask for something and thats what we give you don't complain if we resell it for more. We do have bills to pay too. It takes rent to stay here, electric to see, employees to run the store, etc. We have never cheated anyone. We are a family owned store that has been in business for many years and if you have issues then you should bring the issue to us not spread rumors on the internet. We have never lied to anyone about the condition any of our items. We can only tell you what we have tested and found. Again, there is never a guarantee on when you buy something pre-owned. We have no way of knowing if the item will last a week or a year, that's a risk you take. We also work with the local law officials to avoid buying anything that might be hot or stolen. Again though we have no way of knowing when we buy something where it has been before it comes to us. I would suggest that if anyone has a legitimate complaint that you should bring the issue to us and allow us to work with you. But once the item leaves our shop we give 48 hours because we have no way of knowing what you or your family subject the item to and why it may have stopped working. We have helped many in the area to obtain items they might not have normally been able to afford when it comes to games and electronics. We do our absolute best to work with everyone and treat all fairly.

No one makes you go there. Does it make you feel good to try and ruin someone's life and business?

These are honest hard working people who are trying to run an honest buisness. The reason to have a buisness is to make money. They have to sell things for more than they bought it for or it defeats the purpose. Get a life and talk about something else dumbasses.

BrightStar wont last in this town, everything they sell is broken or junk even the food is out of date they are obviously bleeding money i hope people keep buying satellites, Oh wait dish network is dropping Major cable channels.... Ha! and also being sued. People in this town have nothing against small businesses but when you sell junk and keep selling it, well ya know. Also why would anyone go to the police dept. When the internet is a better forum for placing our dissatisfaction, also I'm sure the video will find its way too our local newspapers website... i mean everyday is a slow newsday.

Have a good one.

I bought a Xbox last Christmas there and it's still working GREAT! They were very nice and even hooked it up or me so I could see that it worked. You take risks when you buy anything used anyways.
