This is a tragedy at anytime but at Christmas, some little ones won't have a dad to put their toys together, how sad!

thats devotion. that just goes to show the capability of the human heart. these men jumped in freezing water to save a dog that they loved. dogs have often given their lives for men throughout time. the fact that these two men gave theirs saving one shows how much they loved that dog. they have my admiration.
May they rest in peace.

God Bless Nathan and Noel Smith, and may their families find some comfort in knowing that their heroic efforts have touched the hearts of many. Mine, in particular. I would take a bullet for my beloved dog, so I understand their actions and am deeply saddened that these two bothers did not make it. I do not have much to give during these difficult economic times, but what little I do have I intend to share with thier loved ones. I have put in a call to Sheriff Tom Bosenko of the Shasta County Sheriff's Office to ask what, if anything, I can do for the Smith families at this time. God Bless them all!
