These political misfits need to be recalled!

Another resolution WITHOUT public input!

Let me see if I'm getting this straight:

Mexican citizens, accompanied by hordes of their militant activists and entitlement-hungry sympathizers, coming to a sovereign nation and DEMANDING legislative action, DEMANDING U.S. aid money, and calling for amnesty (under the color of "compassion")? Un-freakin'-believable.

I swear, my faith and my upbringing me have taught me to love, but these cowardly hypocrites make it so easy for me to care not a bit about their "cause".

Oh, and this gem:

*****
"Two El Paso residents who spoke to the City Council said they were against the resolution. One of the critics, Salvador Gomez, said he supported the caravan but thought its efforts should be focused in Mexico.

"I'm tired of hearing people come and criticize my country," he said. "The place to make an impact is on Juárez, not on this side of the border."

CARAVAN MEMBERS RESPONDED BY STANDING UP AND TURNING THEIR BACKS TO THE SPEAKERS.
*****

So not only do they DEMAND that U.S. citizens give them all they want, it's entirely acceptable that they act like juveniles if someone with a different point of view speaks their mind? It'd be laughable if I didn't just want to curl up a fist and aim at their bearded, Hemingway-wanna-be-looking mugs.

And to top it all of, the majority of our city council voted in favor of this stupid resolution (non-binding, mind you.... they must not have much to do at city council).

Javier Sicilia needs to run around Mexico and protest the sale of drugs to the USA and by the way don't Mexico have real strict gun laws for some people but not all like the cartels are exempt I think. And see how long that last I would give him and his followers 1 or 2 days at the most. This fool is just searching for money from the USA. Had his son not been killed we would not be nearing from this guy.

These people should have been arrested and deported back to Mexico.

Did they have a permit for their protest?

What gives them standing to address the El Paso City Council? They are not citizens of the US nor are they Residents of El Paso, so what gives them the standing to bring anything before the council?

They need to keep their backsides in Mexico. They want to lecture us? Come back when you have taken back control of your own country.

Just one more example of why the entire city council nees to be fired.

Again city council sticks their collective nose in business they have no say in. Mr. Sicilia should be protesting the crumbling way of life in HIS country. He's like Calderon, he comes over to MY country to protest because he's scared and knows the Mexican Government has deaf ears and is corrupt enough to have him taken out, his outspoken views on drugs might have been the reason his son was "eliminated". I'm sorry for his loss but if you lead that life there could be repercussion's

These protestor need to take their protest to the Mexican Presidential Palace. Our "beloved city government needs to stay out of something they have no business getting into. Foreign Affairs are for the State Department to handle and not some ill-informed back water politicians. Guess the next thing you will see is our illustrious mayor going with this group to serenade them along their quest. IF he goes then we should also send Susie Byrd and her flower power ideas.

They won't protest in Mexico because they know that there is a good old fashion ass whooping waiting for them. You can't blame city council they are just to stupid to know better and they do whatever it takes to make them look good in the eyes of non-citizens of El Paso.

Good old El Paso City Council -- still eager to be politically correct and still opining on things that are none of its business.

Let's legalize the drugs and bring it over on flat bed trucks, empty the jails and find something else to do with the drug cops. Put something in to American weapons (metal, steel and wood ) that can not removed and will guarantee that Amy American arms can be traced back to hear and for foreign sales a different concoction to point that out. These gun lovers don't give a damn about Americans being killed by our American guns so they could care less about Mexicans being killed by our American guns for damn sure.

Don't blame the guns, blame the worthless douche bags with their finger on the trigger. Through the years Americans have been de-sensitized to gore and bloodshed seen on TV screens, the news, gaming, movies and so on. Values are no longer taught at home simply because the parent's nowadays have no values, they wait on the schools to educate the children because they themselves are'nt up to the job. The kids today educate themselves, unfortunately.

Let's take the city council out for a field trip along the border in Arizona and let them watch where the smugglers come through and all the destruction they and their "commodity" do to the desert and the local farmers and ranchers' property. Let then stay there and try to stop the trafficking of guns south to the border with just their words and bold statements. We need our city council to stay out of United States State Department politics and policy. Our guitar playing hambone needs to be removed from office and hopefully would leave of his own accord (LOL). City elections for the Mayor office and a few others is up this next year sop lets turn against the namby-pambys by turning them out of office.
Let's slam them when it come to November elections on all the proposals by turning the "HOT" proposal down. And lets slash the proposed items in half.
we can't stop them from face noises but we can hurt their ideas.

The church is right there with you, my son, and we will be out in force next year to make sure justice prevails. We're bringing in a guest lecturer to my parish to emphasize getting out the vote and this guy means business. He's one hell of a priest and I've seen him in scraps that would make you wet your pants.

Calm down, Jerome. As a man of the cloth I took a vow of celibacy so I don't go for any funny business, whether back door or front door or self abuse. I give my life to serving others and to making a difference in this wonderful community.

Assault weapons are made to kill people, assault weapons with multi multi round clips are Made to kill lots and lots and lots of people so why not give them up? Multi round clips for these high power hand guns are made to kill people and multi multi round clips are made to kill lots and lot and lots of people why you need those multi round clips? The ARA represents the gun manufacturers, who represents the gun owners who is tired of all this BS by unstable gun nuts and the vast majority of Americans just sick and tired of this weekly BS. Death done here in the states by gun is getting old fast and these Mexicans killing hell out of each other with american guns must be a real mo-fro over there and blaming that on itchy fingers and nothing on out guns ain't helping them.
