Thank you for letting me know your political view. Mine is not the same. Since you want to poke fun at our canadate we will stop shopping your store. There are 8 of us meet for coffee and you wont get a penny of our business. The last thing this country needs is business creating divisions in our country.

Well the way I see it. To me it does not matter. In a troubled economy if I was in the market for furniter I would go with whom ever would save me some money regardless of what they thought politicaly. Lets face it we live in and area that at times seems like the poloticians have forgotten us. I seriously doubt that Sara Palin would give a hoot if someone would stop shopping at Lacks because they supposedly made made fun of her in a commercial. The only thing this would cause is self harm to us that live here in the RGV. Lacks does loses business, cuts back on employment, raises prices eventualy shuts down and everyone gets laid off and desperate people committ crimes and and crime goes up, and all over a 30 sec. commercial.

I think the commercial was kind of cheesy but I wouldn't base my furniture buying decision on that alone. I always enjoy Lack's commercials, I think the spokeslady is very charming. Who is she anyway?

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY A LACKS PLATINUM PROTECTION PLAN. They are worthless. We bought one for our recliner which claims to cover among other things, "all stains, wear & defect issues, structural defects & damage, cuts, punctures, etc." When we tried to use it because the seat is discolored (black & the chair is tan), buttons popping off and back fabric won't stay closed, we were told that this is 'normal' wear & tear and discoloration as opposed to the "stains, wear & defect" that they claim to cover. What??? DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Personnally, I will never do business with Lacks again since they have lied to me (in writing no less) and refuse to honor their contract, product and services. I hope this saves someone some money.

As the Lacks Spokesperson and a staunch conservative and Palin fan, I can tell you that 1) it was wholly my idea to do that spot on the fly. 2) None of us meant ANY disrespect to Gov Palin! We did it for fun and because of the upcoming elections.

For my part, I offer my sincerest apologies to anybody who was offended. In fact, I sent a copy of the spot to Gov Palin and told her about some of the negative comments we had gotten. I expressed my support and admiration for her and her family, and explained that no harm or offense was intended.

I was very sorry so many people thought it was disrespectful.

This is the first time I have been on this page, and I am so sorry so many people were offended by the spot. It was done as a fluke, and it was my idea. I meant no disrespect. I do stand-up and impressions. I thought it would be fun... but I am a staunch conservative and Palin supporter. I responded earlier to a lady named Mary. You can see what I wrote to her.

I have been a lacks customer for the past 5 years and never been late for a payment before. When my payment was due I phoned in and my call was being rejected more than once. I am more than sure its because they didnt want to take anymore calls! I finally made it to a computer to make my payment online only to find out that there was a glitch in their system and my account wasn't registered on their end therefore making my payment late. I paid it the next morning and asked to speak to a manager therefore transferring me to ALBERT GARCIA. Big mistake, biggest ass$&@" so called manager!!! Poof whatever I explained my situation and wanted to resolve the situation only to find matters worse. He started treated me like a peasant with no job, no education and morals an no money. I was trying to make my payment not run away from it!! I hope he ends up working at some dead end job because of his sorry ass attitude!!
