Just wanted to share my story about the local Wal-mart. Went to pick up my son's BIRTHDAY CAKE and the lady went to the back twice looking for it. She came back and said she DROPPED MY CAKE. She said she could make another and I would Have to PAY for it, or pick one out of the case and get it for free. I ordered this cake TWO days prior. She said she could have my cake in 15 minutes. Got ahold of Manager and NOTHING DONE ON HIS PART OF COURSE. He said he would give me TEN dollars off ( WOW). This was a thirty dollar cake. To make a long story short when we got home and started eating the cake we found THREE HAIRS IN MY SON'S BIRTHDAY CAKE. The bakery gal picked the cake off the FLOOR and redecorated it which I got for free because she knew it came off the floor. I TRASHED THE CAKE AND WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING OUT OF WAL-MART BAKERY AGAIN. THAT'S GOOD OLE MCALESTER WAL- MART FOR YA. BUYER BEWARE AT MCALESTER WAL- MART BAKERY !! Still trying to get ahold of MANAGER AGAIN !! Any suggestions ?

Call 1-800-walmart. That is the toll free # to bentonville the main office and complain. You will speak to a real human. If you dont complain to the main office how is anyone going to know the problem with their stores.

Wal Mart is poorly mismange and some of there service is downright screwed up its the fault of the last mananger who was fired about a few months ago . Ever since Sam Walton died and his family is took it over and run it down to the ground.

Now I dont believe that Walmart is as bad a place as most people say, however I will agree with everyone who has said that it is from poor management. The current manager at Mcalester ,a sort of tall fella seems to think that im unaware of his lack of respect for company policy.Im not one to stir the pot,but Im tired of being the fool.

U guys have to understand that it's the company running the store. There is good management there but follow what bentinville says how to do things. So don't be upset by what mcalesters store is doing. They are just following what they are told. By the way, the tall manager who runs this store is a real nice guy.

I don't know her. It's not my business . But he's a nice guy. And Walmart is still a good place to shop, so everyone should quit gripping about it. I'm sure the people out there are trying hard and the customers here are quite selfish at times I'm sure.

My daughters wallet was stolen at the mcalester walmart with $600, the store told her nothing could be done because it wasn't store merchandise and there is not a camera near the bathroom? She even knew who it was that did it. What kind of security policy do they have in place. So I guess it is ok for theives to steal from their customers? It doesn't concern them because it isn't their merchandise? Thanks for the blog I will give her the 1800 walmart # so she can call and comPLAIN!!

Have you or she called the police? That would be my first step before even talking to anyone at Walmart...when someone shoplifts Walmart calls the cops too.

just because it happens at Walmart , doesn't mean it's walmarts fault. You should have talked with the cops. Complaining to 1800 Walmart, about this is irrelevant and if you know who did it them press charges. It's your word against the one u bring charged to, not Walmart.
