"Martinez's illegal re-entry is a felony, and the ICE is focusing on "smart, effective immigration enforcement that prioritizes the removal of criminal aliens, recent border crosser and egregious immigration law violators, such as those who have been previously removed from the United States," according to a statement from the ICE public affairs office out of Chicago, which denied his first request to remain in this country."

He is an illegal alien and a felon. Being able to make babies does not negate the fact the fact that he is a criminal. His wife is as also a criminal and has committed a felony by harboring him. She should also be prosecuted. Just because she had children with this man should not be an excuse to allow her to get away with committing a felony.

14 years of marriage and still has not become a citizen? what other crimes has her husband done?

why can't she pack up and move to where her husband needs to be deported to? does she too have a record where that country will not except her?

Another story about how illegal aliens are not responsible for their own actions and deportation is an injustice.

Whatever. She can petition to join him, if it means that much to her.

No he won't.

Felons do not qualify to come here.

Even legal residents who commit one felony are deportable.

Even though he was married last time, they denied his request to stay. Instead of going home and applying to come here the legal way, this POS sneaked back into the country. He's obviously a career criminal.

His fat-arsed wife doesn't work and he's the sole supporter. Well, it's a misdemeanor to work without authorization.

His fat-arsed wife is going to need to get a job. Too bad for her.

She's lucky they don't prosecute her for the felony of aiding/abetting/harboring and encouraging an illegal alien to come here or stay here. In my opinion, they should prosecute her to the fullest extent. If a citizen committed a felony that wasn't related to some scum illegal alien, they most certainly *would* be prosecuted.

Another criminal parasite demanding the laws should not apply to him!!! Our policy should be to deport all captured illegals - no exceptions.

She cannot continue to collect welfare if she takes the children and moves to Mexico.

He crossed our Border two times so he should not have any problem doing it a third time if
deported.

Just a paid trip home with food etc paid for by USA Tax Payers then Illegally crossing the Border again returning to his Wife

They do not have a problem, ripped off USA Tax Payers do.

She still will collect the welfare she has been collecting because her husband is illegal and did not have an income, that was reported.

Go after his employer too...no job, no income and maybe the USA won't be looking so good to him.

He knowingly broke the law when he re-entered illegally. It's a felony. If I enter a neighbor's house without their permission and take something that's not rightfully mine, it's burglary. In Florida I could get a $10k fine and up to 15 years in prison.

Wouldn't he rather be deported and petition Mexico for his family to join him there?

And btw...don't you just "wonder" who's supporting her and the 4 kids now while he's in detention? She's still not working...

Which is another mark against him...the rest of us have to file and pay income taxes. She should be charged with fraud and all benefits stopped because apparently she didn't report his income to the welfare authorities.

I agree 100%. The fact that those who harbor illegal aliens such as spouses, family members, "fiancÚs" and other illegal supporters are never charged is another slap in the face to honest citizens and immigrants. The IRS and welfare authorities should be all over this.
