It seems the idiots that are running the school system are no better off than they were before. I understand that today they told Mr. Fulk that today was his last day. The one person that has been there the longest, knows more about how things are run, and the most honest one of the whole bunch gets sent home. Is it just me, or is something wrong with this picture???? Get rid of the honest ones and keep the slime that are under investigation? Wonder who in the hell they think will keep things running in that department? Don't get me wrong, they need to clean house, but I think they should start at the top with the thieves and liars. The whole bunch needs to be behind bars, the sooner, the better. Our children's future is in serious jeopardy in this county! Why is no one doing anything with these people?????

He retired and should not be double dipping let someone who needs to work have his job.I dont think they should be allowed to double dip when i am sure there are qualified people out there to do his job that need a job.

I don't disagree with him being gone AT ALL! I have personally spoken with him NUMEROUS times over issues with the school bus and he NEVER takes care of the problem. It's way past time for some new blood in that department. Hopefully the next person will step up and take care of issues with drivers and monitors that negatively affect our kids!

You need to go back and read the report and you will find that he is NOT under investigation because they did not find anything that he did wrong!

No, that would be my ex-husband, Tim Moore, that was stealing the gas, and stealing money to eat at his high priced restaurants, and buying his girlfriend and her kids expensive gifts. What stupid people you have in this town; he ripped you all off for 15 years!

Hello dummies....it's not double dipping when you have earned your retirement and you take another job....besides, there is no one else in this lazy ass town that wants to work, they all want to sit on their ass and get a check from the government.....and all the while want the school to raise and feed their kids they keep popping out so they can have a bigger check!

Double dipping? So you are asking for forced, permanent retirements in this country because of a person's age or work experience?

People (teachers included) work all of their life, save, invest, pay into their retirement plans. Why should that dis-qaulify them from working? Sounds a little communist to me. A person should have to give up their job, so another person can work?

We are an economy based on competition. You idea goes completely against this concept.

Jobs aren't charity awards, they are earned.

The man wasn't forced to retire that is something he done on his own. He must of felt he was ready to retire or maybe he saw a way to benefit financely.I am sure there is someone as qualified to replace him that is trying to raise a family instead of letting anyone leave a job and return for a large amount of money. He should take his money and enjoy it.Some jobs might be charity depending on who you know.

most schools do not hire retired teachers back at their full pay. For example, if a teacher retired after 25 or 35 years, most districts only hire them back as a 1st year teacher step.

Has anyone ever left a job so you could could have their job?

Some school disticts might hire back at first year wages but you must remember that our school district was corrupt so who knows what the wages were i can imagine that they were nice. I replaced a person that retired and i was replaced by someone when i retired

Did each retire specifically so the next person could have a job?

Should the people that retired before you still be "allowed" to work? If so where should they be allowed to work?
not always

some are earned most are given to a$$ kissers that happen to be freindly with the ones that hire with little regard to qualifications, around here anyway

That response from not always pretty well sums it up. Why would you want to go back at your same job after retirement if you were not trying to beat the system which obviously has some terrible loop holes. It should not be allowed.

"Something he done on his own?" Shows your intelligence level right there buddy. If you don't know all the facts, you should keep your idiotic comments to yourself. People as stupid as you sound wouldn't be smart enough to replace the ones that retired.
Find something else to do while sitting on your dead ass drawing a government check instead of complaining.
