Let's see...
The Limestone Center (Kehoe Viaduct)
Maysville Convention Center (downtown)
Moose Lodge (assuming the repairs & remodeling are finished when you need the building)
There may be other places but I am not sure who rents space anymore.

We had our reception at the Maysville Conference Center. However the only downfall to this is you cannot bring outside food or drink in. You must use one of the three caters they suggest, and if you want alcohol there are only two vendors on the list for that as well. Everything and I mean everything must be done using their people except for decorations. We couldn't even bring in mints and peanuts! The price was decent enough at four hundred dollars.

You're right; we had a couple of work-related functions there a few years ago and had to use their vendors/suppliers. I guess in today's world $400 is a good deal, though for a complete reception.

Sorry, the $400 was just the cost of the Conference Center rental. Add the cost of catering which was almost a grand, the bar which was $150, and the DJ $300. By the time everything was said and done the total cost of having it there was close to $2000.

I agree..who in their right mind would have a wedding reception at Cheyenne's bar...unless it's that skank Devon who was proposed to there in July.

Try talking to Jessica at Caproni's. They do a really nice job with wedding receptions.
